The students of Cavite State University observed that there were many children living in the area. They organized a program to empower the younger generation and bring smiles to their faces. The students spent a week planning the event, which was held on April 5, 2019. They invited all the young people in the zone to participate in games and receive food. The children played with great enthusiasm. The event was a success in satisfying its objective of bringing happiness to the youth through games, prizes and food.

IV.

Activities Our Group Did for the Community


As the continuous data and location surveillance took place, it was prominently observed
that there is a vast amount of children who reside in the area. Due to this rationale and the
objective to impact the lives of the local population, the students of Cavite State University
resolved to create a program and an event that will empower the younger generation by bring a
smile on their faces and eventually a joyful heart in them. The students spent a whole week to
finalize the plan for the program and it was on April 5, 2019 when everything was put into
action. As everyone was filled with compassion and excitement, the students of National Service
Training Program 2 – Civil Welfare Training System started the event by inviting every single
youngster in the zone to participate in the event that the students prepared for them.
Different groups were formed and disseminated throughout the location from the very
first ward until the very last. As the sun continues to rise up, so as the intensity and the hype of
the event was. It was exactly at 1:00 in the afternoon when the event officially started and the
children played games to their higher potential for the sole purpose of bringing happiness and
smile on their innocent faces. Besides from the games and prized, there were also foods prepared
to fill the hunger of every youth in the location. Indeed, the day ended and the objective was
satisfied. The purest of joy was seen to everyone as they part ways but most importantly the
students of Cavite State University fulfilled their mission to create an impact to the lives of the
younger generation that once in their lifetime, there were people who intentionally invested their
own time and effort in order to make them happy. After all, the idea alone will surely empower
them to pass it on and finally make a difference.
