POWERLOGIC® Power Monitoring and Control Systems
Energy and Enercept Meters
Class 3020, 3050
PowerLogic Energy Meter
The Energy Meter provides the features required for sub-metering along with pricing and convenience that removes the
hurdle from getting the information that is needed to make better decisions. The Energy Meter can be used for tenant
sub-metering applications where the property manager or building owner may not initially desire a full blown energy
management/information system. The Energy Meter can also be used in applications where load dis-aggregation is
required. The Basic Energy Meter acts as a standalone meter with display. The Enhanced Energy Meter adds the
capability of an optional communication board along with voltage input up to 600 Vac.
A multi segment backlit LCD display presents energy consumption in kWh and MWh as applicable. In addition, the
display automatically scrolls through the following variables:
k kW
k KVAR
k PF
k Volts per phase and 3 phase averagec
k Amps per phase and three phase average c
c Per phase values are not displayed on single phase meters.
The compatible current transformers (CT) are split-core style for ease of installation. The CT’s come in 125 A, 225 A,
800 A, 1600 A , and 5000 A ranges. The system accuracy including these compatible CT’s is 1% of reading from 2% to
100% of the rated current of the CT’s.
The Energy Meter has an Infrared Serial port so that data can be retrieved from the meter using a PDA with infrared
capabilities.
