CRM Organization Model

1 Purpose
The purpose of this document is to describe the general configuration steps required to
manually set up the configuration within the system landscape that has already been
installed using the corresponding installation or configuration guides for installation.

2 Configuration
The following section describes the complete settings for this building block.

2.1 Organizational Model Creation


2.1.1 Defining Divisions
Procedure
1. Access the activity using the following navigation options:

2. On the Change View “Divisions”: Overview screen, choose New Entries.


3. On the New Entries: Overview of Added Entries screen, make the following entries:

2.1.2 Defining Distribution Channels


Procedure

2.1.4 Defining Use of Division and Dummy Division


Use
With this activity you check if the division settings are maintained. If this is not the case the
organization determination does not work properly.

Procedure
1. Access the activity using the following navigation options:

2. Check the following values.


If the values are not maintained please maintain them as follows:

Result
You have added the required settings for the organization determination.

2.1.5 Creating Number Ranges for Org. Business Partners


Use
Define number ranges for Organization Business Partner in CRM system. Before doing this,
please check in S/4HANA system to get an unused number range interval. If the given
interval is already used, please change it accordingly and also do the same change in
S/4HANA.

Procedure
1. Access the activity using one of the following navigation options:

2. Choose Insert interval.

Procedure
1. Access the activity using the following navigation options:

2. On the Change View “BP groupings”: Overview screen, choose New Entries (F5).

2.1.7 Assigning Number Ranges


Use
Assign number ranges defined in previous step to groupings.

2.1.8 Setting up Integration with Organizational Management


Procedure
1. Access the activity using the following navigation options:

2. On the Change View “System Table“: Overview screen, make the following Entries:

3. Choose Save (Ctrl+S).


2.1.9 Executing Report for Changeover Classification
Use
A report has to be executed to changeover the customer classification from former CRM
releases.

This report has to be executed once even in case of a new installed CRM system.
Otherwise error messages during business partner processing will occur.
It has to be executed at this time because otherwise the business partners which
are related to the organizational units are not created correctly.

Procedure
1. To run the report, use the following navigation option:
Transaction code SA38

2. Enter the report CRM_MKTBP_ZCACL_UPDATE_30 and choose Execute (F8).


3. Keep the default values and choose Execute (F8).
4. In case of the status message Class Type BUP: No Suitable Classes Found no further
actions are required.

5. In case of other messages, read the documentation of the report and run the report with
deactivated flag for Test mode.

Result
You have successfully executed the report to changeover the customer classification from
former CRM releases.

2.1.10 Creating Organizational Units


Use
You create organizational units structure in the step.

Procedure
1. Access the transaction using one of the following navigation options:

2. On the Create root organizational object dialog box , make the following settings and
choose Continue (Enter).

3. On the General Attribute (CRM) Create screen, in the part of Details of Organizational
unit New organizational unit, tab page Basic data, create the following settings:

14. Choose the created O2C Sales Organization and choose Create. On the popup Choose

2.1.11 Assigning Tax Classification to Specified BP for


Organizational Unit
Use
In this process, you can assign tax classification to specified BP for organizational unit.

Procedure
1. Access the activity using the following navigation options:
Transaction code BP

2. On the Maintain Business Partner screen, make the following entries:

3. Choose Start.
4. Double click the business partner number in the result list.
5. On the Display Organization: XXXXXXXXXX screen, choose change.
6. Choose Control.

2.1.12 Maintaining Positions for the Organizational Units


Use

You assign positions to organizational units, in doing this, you also determine the tasks
assigned to them. You can define a head position within an organizational unit, to which all
other positions in the organizational unit report.

Procedure
1. Access the activity using one of the following navigation options:

2. On the General Attribute (CRM) Change screen, choose Search Term which is under the
Organization unit on the left screen.
3. In the Find Organizational unit dialog box, enter the name of the organizational unit, that
has been created in the preceding section (O2C Sales Group) and choose Find.
4. In the view area Hit List, select the link of organizational unit O2C Sales Group.
5. In the assignment block Assignment Plan (CRM) select the organizational unit O2C Sales
Group.
6. Choose Create. In the Choose Relationship dialog box, choose Position and choose
Continue (Enter).
7. In the Details for Position and the tab page Basic data, enter the Description with O2C
SRV of the position and the Code with O2C_SRV. Also activate the checkbox, if this
position is a head of an organizational unit.
8. Choose Save.
9. In the tab Attributes you will see the inherited Attributes from the organization unit.
10. Choose Check Consistency. Examine the messages for the check results.
11. Choose Save.
12. Repeat above steps to create the following positions.

2.1.13 Assigning Business Role to Position


Procedure
1. Access the activity using the following navigation options:

2. On the Maintain Plan Data: Expert Mode screen, make the following entries:
