Clay Modeling

Clay modeling is used to create a mussel car model. The process involves first making a positive clay model, then creating a negative mold using plaster of Paris. The final product is cast using a mixture of resin, hardener, cobalt blue, glass fiber and chalk powder to allow viewing a 3D representation before actual manufacturing.

Initial stage
First a positive is made with fine clay ,

then a negative from plaster of Paris.

Objective is to see a 3d view of a desired product before actually manufacturing it.
