Awning Bracket Pioneer Platform/ Tray: Controlled

This document provides instructions for installing awning brackets onto a Rhino Pioneer Platform/Tray. It includes: 1) A list of parts and hardware needed for the installation. 2) Directions to loosely fit the brackets to the awning according to the awning instructions, and then insert plate nuts into the front of the Pioneer tray and slide them into position. 3) Instructions to fit the brackets to the tray using the specified hardware, then slide the awning into position and tighten all hardware.

Place these instructions in the vehicle’s glove box after installation is complete.

Important: Please read these instructions carefully prior to installation.


Please refer to your fitting instruction to ensure that the alloy tray is installed correctly.
Check the contents of this kit before commencing fitment and report any discrepancies.

Loosely Fit Bracket to Awning
Using hardware that came with the awning, loosely fit the brackets to the awning as specified in the awning fitting
instructions. Refer image below for mount locations.

2 Fit Awning Brackets to Pioneer


Insert the plate nuts into slot at the front of the Pioneer Platform/ Tray and slide the plate nuts to the desired
position. Fit the brackets to the tray with the hardware specified below.

Slide the awning to its final position and tighten the hardware as specified in the awning fitting instructions.

Plate Nut The Awning Bracket is also compatible with the


Vortex Bar, using the same method to fit onto the
Platform/ Tray, but using the centre bracket holes.
