The aim of this assignment is to produce wax product through sand casting method. Students in a group
required to use existing pattern or design new pattern, prepare the mold and produce wax product.
Other particular as following;

MATERIAL REQUIRED:
- Sand – required amount
- Wax – required amount
- Box – to contain the sand (plywood)
- Pattern – existing/new design (any material)

OPERATION REQUIRED:
1. Produce detailed drawing of the pattern & mold
2. Prepare pattern
3. Prepare sand
4. Build mold
5. Create gating system
6. Prepare wax
7. Casting

REQUIREMENT:
- Students are required to produce Video evidence of the entire process
- Students are required to capture image evidence for report preparation of entire process
- Assignment submission to consist of following
o Video
o Report
o Wax product
