This report summarizes a CT scan of a 62-year-old male with a history of bladder cancer. The scan shows a 3.3 cm irregular enhancing wall thickening in the left lateral and posterior bladder wall that appears stable compared to prior imaging. There is left hydroureter and an atrophic left kidney. Infective lung nodules are also seen in the left lower lobe. The impression is of a stable urinary bladder lesion with associated left hydroureter and atrophic left kidney, as well as infective lung nodules.

CT SCAN OF THE THORAX, ABDOMEN AND PELVIS DATED 2.5.2019
Contrast enhanced scan of the thorax, abdomen and pelvis has been performed on a MDCT scanner.

This is a case of Ca bladder, post chemotherapy.


Comparison done with outside MR pelvis films dated 11.2.2019. Suboptimal comparison.

Bilateral PCN is seen insitu.


Left kidney appears atrophic. Bilateral perirenal fat stranding is seen.
Irregular enhancing wall thickening is seen in the left lateral and posterior wall, thickness approximately
measuring 3.3 cm. The lesion appears grossly stable.
Perivesical fat stranding is seen.

There is left lateral VUJ is obstructed, with proximal hydroureter, maximum diameter 8 mm. Fat planes are
indeterminate with the prostate.

The liver is normal in size & shape and shows no focal or diffuse lesion.
There is no dilatation of the biliary tree.
The gall bladder, pancreas, spleen, kidneys and adrenals appear normal.
The visualized GI tract appears unremarkable.

There is no significant retroperitoneal or pelvic adenopathy.


There is no ascites.

Visualized bones are unremarkable.


Visualized lung fields- Few centrilobular nodules are seen in the basal segments of the left lower lobe likely
infective etiology
