NOTE:
- Chapter 2: Review of Related Literature will be composed of TWO MAIN DIVISIONS:
o Review of Related Literature Proper
o Conceptual Framework
- Chapter number and title must be in ALL CAPS and bold. Chapter number should be in Hindu
Arabic Numeral.
- Chapter subsection titles should have the following elements
o E.g. 1.1 Objectives of the Study

- Chapter body text must be double spaced
- Each paragraph must also be indented.
FIGURES AND TABLES IN THESIS BODY

NOTE:
- In the thesis body, figures could be referenced by:
o mentioning it directly (e.g. Figure 1 shows the relationship…….)
o or placing it inside in a parenthesis ( e.g. …..There has been a distinct rise of blood pressure
after five days of experimentation (Fig. 1). This means that……). In the latter case, figure
should be abbreviated as shown in the example.
- In the thesis body, tables could be referenced in the same manner with Figures. However, there is
no abbreviation for it when placed inside a parenthesis)
- Figures and Tables should be placed after the paragraph that mentions it (see example above)
- Title of the figure should be placed below it. On the other hand, title of the table should be placed
above it. In any case that the titles would exceed one line, single spacing must be observed. Also,
the title must be in bold format (see example above).
