General Rules
1. Only participants or observers with ID cards are allowed to enter the competition
area.
2. STRICTLY prohibited to bringing food / drink in the competition area.
3. Participant / observer are sugested to bring own jacket to the competition area,
because the room temperature is very cold.
4. Have to bring own battery for robot which rent from committee or have your own by
using AERO AA and AAA battery type as Exclusive battery partner.
5. Participants MUST bring along all necessary items (laptops, batteries, robotics parts).
6. STRICTLY prohibited to exchange media transfer such as external hard disk, flashdisk,
etc.
7. Participant are not allowed to out from competition area while competition is in
progress.
8. Participants queue number will be moved to the bottom if has called 3x not present
in the competition area.
9. General robot specification are limited to:
a. 1 kg weight
b. Maximum dimension 20cm (length) x 20cm (width) x 20cm (height)
c. Shall not use rechargeable battery.
d. There are exceptions on IoT, Humanoid Mission, Creative, Theater, Coding
Mission Open Robot Category (please refer to each rule details).
10. Can share the same robot for the same institution/school.
11. Competition with OPEN level category mean there’s no difference of junior and
senior level.
12. In the event of category level with less than 10 teams the committee reserves the
right to combine the level become open level or you can change to another game
category.
13. Categories of this competition are:
a. TEAM, with maximum 2 participants for Soccer Cup, Marine Transporter, Iot
Game Categories.
b. INDIVIDUAL, Brickspeed, Humanoid Mission, Kinder Mission, Coding Mission,
Drone Coding Mission, dan Sumo Categories.
c. Creative category: TEAM with minimum 2, maximum 5 participants.
d. Theater category: TEAM with minimum 3, maximum 10 participants.
14. If there are participants / team will join 4 game category or more, they have to
choose at least one to creative or theater category.
15. There are 2 time competition session:
a. Session A: 09.00 – 12.00
b. Session B: 13.00 – 16.00
16. Participants have to choose which 2 maximum category at one of the session (ex:
participant join 2 category on session A). It is not recommended to join more than 3
categories in 1 session, except theater and creative in session B.
17. Observer are NOT ALLOWED to have direct communication with the participants
during the competition. If they have any urgent request, kindly approach our staff.
18. Participants should take care of personal belongings as the organizer will NOT BE
RESPONSIBLE for any losses.

19. As the venue is a public location, students are reminded to observe their behaviors at
all times.
20. Please DO NOT DAMAGE the venue properties. The organizer will not be liable for
any damages and serious action will be taken.
21. In the event of any disagreement or misunderstanding, the judges’ decision will be
final.
22. If there are any changes to the rules and regulations, it will be announced to all
participants 7 days before the competition starts. The judges will have full
authority to explain and enforce the rules for all the competition.
23. Prior to the start of the competition, all robots will undergo an inspection. If the
robots do not meet the requirements, participants will be given a grace time of
15 mins to modify their robots, otherwise the participants will be disqualified.
24. If the robots encounter any technical difficulty before the start of the match, they will
be given 1 mins to do the changes to the robot.
25. Participants are not allowed to touch their robots and/or remote controls during the
competition unless instructed by the judges.
26. Any act of cheating and non-compliance with the rules (disturbing the Remote Signal
/ RF / Bluetooh frequency) will be IMMEDIATELY DISQUALIFIED and BLACKLISTED
from the ARCC & International Competition Event.

Mission Construct a robot with accurate shape and
fastest time
Game Method Mission completion and Time record

1.0. Objective
Brickspeed is a game that requires participants to construct a bricks set become a
robot shape that has been determined by the jury. This game test student ability to
construct a robot with high stability skill as possible. The most accurate and fastest
participants who have construct the brick will be the winner.

2.0. Robot Kit Used


1. There are several differences kit for each level will be used in this game.
a. Junior A: MRT Story kit
b. Junior B: MRT Story kit
c. Junior C: MRT Exciting kit
d. Senior: MRT Exciting kit
2. All robots kit used, will be provided by the committee.

3.0. Restriction on Robot Design


1. Robot shape must be built, will be announced when the competition begin, just
prepare yourself.

4.0. Game Rules


4.1. Length of a Match
1. There are 4 sessions (depend on participants who will join).
2. There are 20 participants will compete together per sessions.
3. 10 minutes per sessions.

4.2. Building of Robot


1. Building of robot will be announced when the competition begin.

4.3. Competition Task


1. Build a robot (guidebook: include)
2. Raise your hands when finish. Then the jury will see what you have done.

4.4. Deciding the Winner


1. Participants who have finish with the most accurate shape and fastest time will

Mission Solve some simple mathematics calculation
Game Method Mission completion and Time record

1.0. Objective
Participants are required to solve some simple mathematics calculation and move
the correct answer cube to the answer area with their own robot. They must try as fast
as possible to do the calculation and move the answer cube to the answer area in the
time given. Points will be given only for the correct answer.

2.0. Robot Dimension and Weight


1. The size of the robot at starting box shall not exceed 20cm (height) x 20cm (length)
x 20cm (width). However, robots are allowed to expand to any size after the game
start.
2. Each robot must fully comply with the size restriction.

3.0. Restriction on Robot Design


1. Only MRT parts are to be used to build the robot. There is no limitation to the
amount of blocks used to build the robot. You are allowed to cross use the parts from
the above mentioned systems for the robots.
2. However, ONLY maximum 2 number of DC motors, and 1 mainboard are allowed to
use for the competition, there is no limit on other electronic parts.
3. Robot built is allowed to modify the mechanical parts (painting/folding) but not
electronic parts. If found guilty, the player would be IMMEDIATELY disqualified.
4. Robots shall not damage any part of the field or obstacles deliberately.
5. Robots are not allowed to have any power supply above 9V DC (Volt of Direct
Current). VAC (Volt of Alternating Current) power supplies are strictly prohibited for
safety reasons.
6. Robots shall not cause any danger to the arena & surroundings in anyway
whatsoever.
7. Robots RC receivers will need to be protected from any outside interferences.

1. Each game is stipulated for 2 minutes.

5.3. Starting the Robot
1. Whistle will be blown as a sign of start of the game.
2. All robots must place at the start area of the game field before the referee start
the game.

5.4. Competition Task


1. Participants need to control their own robot.
2. Picking up a math question (card) from a box ONLY when the referee instruct to
do so.
3. PLACE the card on the left of the start point.
4. Solve the question and control the robot to move the correct answer to the
answer area, only one answer (block with number) can allow to be move in the
answer area.
5. If there are 2 blocks of numbers that enter the answer area, the points are not
counted.
6. Solve as many questions as possible during 2 minutes.
7. The students are not allowed to use any tools to do the calculation when pick a
question from the box provided.

5.5. Deciding the Winner


1. Each correct answer will score 1 point and the participants with the highest
points will be the winner. Answer is accepted and checked only after cube
moved inside answer area.

1.0. Objective
To promote team work and test student ability to construct a robot with high
stability and controlling skill to play soccer game.

2.0. Robot Dimension and Weight


1. The size of the robot at the starting box shall not exceed 20cm (H) x 20cm (W) x
20cm (L). However, robot is not allowed to expand to any size after the game starts.
2. The maximum weight of the robot is 1000 grams (Include batteries).

3.0. Restriction on Robot Design


1. Only MRT parts are to be used to build the robot. There is no limitation to the
amount of blocks used to build the robot. You are allowed to cross use the parts
from the above mentioned systems for the robots.

2. The participant who remote controls the robot shall keep distance with the
game field area without touching or disturbing the game field.

4.4. Competition Tasks


1. All the games will be based on “knock out” system. All the teams will be
distributed in opposing pairs by KRON committee randomly.
2. Each team shall consist of 2 robots and 2 paticipants with each participants
controlling one robot.
3. During the match, the participants who control their robot please keep distance
with game field, and don’t touch or damage the field.
4. A robot not allowed to handle the ball for more than 5 seconds.
5. Upon removal of a robot from the playing field, it can only re-enter the game
upon referee’s approval.
6. Robots can deploy any tactics or maneuvers, as long as it does not constitute a
foul.
7. The robot can only stay within the penalty area for a maximum of 5 seconds.
Participant will be warned by the jury to move their robot if the robot stay
within the penalty area more than 10 second.
8. Extra time of 1 minute shall be played only in the event of a draw.
9. Sudden death shall be played only in the event of draw on extra time.
10. The parts which are fallen or broken from the robots cannot be fixed back onto
the robots during the match, unless permitted by jury.
11. While the match is in progress, at any time the jury whistles, the participants
should stop the robot.

4.5. Deciding the Winner


1. Within 3 minutes, the team with highest goals will be the winner.
2. The ‘knock-out’ stage shall not consist of any points and the winner of the
game shall proceed to the next round.
3. The time limit for extra time shall be 1 minute.
4. In the event of a DRAW by the end of extra time, ‘Sudden Death’ time shall
decide the match in the event both teams are still tied for score. The team that
missed the first ball, loses the game.

4.6. Disqualification
1. Touching the robots while the match is in progress.
2. Robot does not comply with the size restrictions.

Push-push Sumo is a game that test and challenge the participant’s ability to
construct and programmed a remote controlled wheeled robot to pass through the
runway and push opponent out of the game field (white colour).

2.0. Robot Dimension and Weight


1. The size of the robot at the starting box shall not exceed 20cm (H) by 20cm (W) by
20cm (L). However, robots are allowed to expand to any size after the game starts.
2. The maximum weight of the robot is 1000 grams (Include batteries).

4.4. Competition Task
1. All the games will be based on “knock out” system. All the participants will
be distributed in opposing pairs by KRON committee randomly.
2. Both robots must attempt to cross over to the other half of the opponent
side and engage the opponent robot as soon as the match starts. The robot
can deploy any tactics or maneuvers, as long as it does not constitutes a foul.
3. Within 60 seconds, the robot pushed the opponent robot off the playfield
first considered wins. Rematch will be carried out when both robots fall off
from the playfield.
4. In case of the robot’s body is out from the game field more than half or
unable to return back into the game field, it is considered as lose.
5. Robots MUST be placed behind the start line on the runway before the
match starts.
6. Robots are to remain stationary until the START whistle has been blown.

4.5. Deciding the Winner


1. Win (Push the robot opponent robot outside the play field or not able to
move back into the play field) winner score 2 marks.
2. Lose (Half of the robot’s body being push out by opponent to the runway or
not able to moveback into play field) loser score 0 mark.
3. Draw (each participant robots still moving and stay inside the play field) both
scored 1 mark.
4. In the event of a draw, one of robot participant will be placed in back to back
position and continue the final round to get the winner.

4.6. Disqualification
A team shall be disqualified if it commits any of the following during the match:
a. Robot does not comply with the size restrictions.
b. Not attempting to engage the opponent robot as soon as the match starts.
c. Touching the robot while the match is in progress.

Game Method Mission completion and Time record

1.0. Objective
The goal of this game is to test student’s ability to program the robot to save and
preserve the remaining nature and also to save the survivors. This also will test the
student’s decision making as to save which one first the forest or the survivors.

2.0. Robot Dimension and Weight


Robot must not exceed 20cm(H) x 20cm(W) x 20cm(L).

3.0. Restriction on Robot Design


1. Usage of maximum 4 DC motors, 2 servos, 5 IR sensors, 1 tracer sensor block and 1
mainboard only.
2. Robots shall not damage any part of the field or obstacles deliberately.
3. Robots are not allowed to have any power supply more than 9V DC (MRT Robot
Kit). VAC (Volt of Alternating Current) power supplies are strictly prohibited for
safety reasons.
4. Robot are allowed to have any power supply more than 9V DC (Open Robot Kit).
VAC (Volt of Alternating Current) power supplies are strictly prohibited for safety
reasons.
5. Must not cause any danger to the arena.

4.0. Game Rules


4.1. Length of a Match
1. Each game is stipulated for 4 minutes only.
2. Programming, trial, and match session will be given for 3 hour.
a. Programming: 30 minutes.
b. Trial and match: 2 hours 30 minutes.
c. When match session, each participant have only 4 minutes to run their
robot.
3. In the following cases, a match will end before 4 minutes.
a. In the event of disqualification.
b. When the judge sees that continuation of the match is impossible.
c. Damages on the arena.
d. Completion of time.
e. Damages the forest.

4.2. Building of Robot

2. Participants is allowed to start (switch on) the robot using single switch
operation.

4.4. Completion Task


1. Once the match has begun, the robot must move by its own to complete the
task.
2. Collect and bring the survivors to the rescue center.
3. Go to the affected area of the forest (burning area only).
4. Trigger the IR sensor to put off the fire (LED Red change to Green).
5. The parts which are fallen or broken from the robots cannot be fixed back onto
the robot during match.
6. Back and stop at starting point.
7. When the participant has finished programming the robot less than 30 minutes,
participants are entitled to trial 2 times with 2 times re-try each.
8. In match session there’s 1 times attempts and 2 times re-try will be given to
each participant.
9. When programming, each participant have to use software, robots that are not
programmed through software will be DISQUALIFIED.
10. There will be a secret mission that will be given by the jury during the
competition. Prepare yourself as best as you can

4.5. Deciding the Winner


1. The winner will be the participants who able to complete the task with highest
score in the shortest time.
2. If the score is the same for two participants, the shortest time will be the
winner.

4.6. Points, Penalties and Disqualification


1. Points
a. 10 points will be awarded for each survivor if properly placed in the rescue
center. If physically less than 50% of survivor body in the rescue center
box, only get 5 points. Out of the box, no point.
b. Put out the fire (triggered the IR sensor to turn LED Red to Green) will be
awarded 10 points each.
c. If LED not turn to Green, there is no point.
d. Robot return and stop at starting point will be awarded 20 points.

2. Penalties
Placing the survivor at any affected area of the forest will receive a penalty
which is the deduction of 15 points.

3. Disqualification
a. Touching the robot or the item in the arena while the match is in progress.
b. Robot does not comply with the size restriction.
c. A stalemate of more than 10s.

d. The robot moves out of the line for more than 10s.

Maze Solving

Mission Program maze solving robot that make correct decision at junctions to find
shortest route and gain all the points.
Game Method Mission completion and Time record

1.0. Objective
This game required participant to construct and program a Maze Solving Robot that
will move by following the line track and make decision at each of the junctions to reach
more points. The robot is considered completing the task when the robot successfully
reaches the END point.

2.0. Robot Dimension and Weight


1. The size of the robot at the starting box shall not exceed 20cm (H) x 20cm (W) x
20cm (L).
2. Each robot must fully comply with size restriction, even after all the appendages
have been fully expanded.

3.0. Restriction on Robot Design


1. Robots shall not damage any part of the field or obstacles deliberately.
2. Robots are not allowed to have any power supply above 9V DC (Volt of Direct
Current).
3. Robots shall not cause any danger to the arena and surroundings in anyway
whatsoever.
4. Robots will need to protect their sensors if necessary from any outside
interferences.

4.0. Game Rules


4.1. Length of a Match
1. Programming, trial, and match session will be given for 3 hour.
a. Programming: 1 hours.
b. Trial and match: 2 hours.
c. When match session, each team have only 5 minutes to run their robot.
2. In the following cases, a match will end even before 5 minutes.
a. When the task is achieved and robot stop at the END point.
b. In the event of disqualification.
c. When the referees judge that continuation of the match is impossible.

4.2. Building of Robot


1. Prebuilt.

4.3. Starting the Robot


1. Whistle will be blown as a sign of start of the match.

2. Participant is allowed to start (SWITCH ON) the robot using single switch
operation.
3. After the switch is ‘ON’, the robot should move autonomously and no
communication allowed between the robot and team member (no assistance of
remote control or similar) until it crosses the finish line.
4. If the robot run out of the track or crosses the finish line while match, then the
jury will stop timing and recorded as end of match.
5. The participant who performs the starting operation shall keep distance with
the game field area without touching or disturbing the game field.
6. The participant who are touching or disturbing the game field will be
disqualified from the match.

4.4. Competition Tasks


1. Each team have to program their own robot when the jury showing up the
game track first.
2. Time will be given 1 hour for programming.
3. When programming, each team member have to use software, robots that are
not programmed through software will be disqualified.
4. When the team has finished programming the robot less than 1 hour,
participants are entitled to trial 2 times with 2 times re-try.
5. In match session there’s 1 times attempts and 2 times re-try will be given to
each team.
6. There will be a trial sequence, if the team who first completed in programming
the robot, then that team gets first order in the trial stage.
7. Once the match has begun, each robot shall complete the tasks as below:
a. Following the line track.
b. Make decision at each junction to complete the task.
8. All robots MUST stop at the END POINT in order to get 10 points.
9. Timing will begin when the referee whistles at the Start line.
10. Timing will stop once the robot stop at the Finish Line or the robot run out of
the track and the time taken to complete the route will be recorded.
11. Robots can deploy any tactics as long as it does not constitute a foul.
12. The parts which are fallen or broken from the robots cannot be fixed back into
the robots during the match.

4.5. Deciding the Winner


1. Each robot will be given 1 times attempts include 3 times re-try to complete the
whole course and the best score will be taken as the final score. The score
priority consists of:
a. Points (after the robot has following each obstacle).
b. Time.

4.6. Disqualification
A team shall be disqualified if it commits any of the following during the match :
a. Team member touches the robot without referee’s approval.
b. If Robot is unable to move off 5 seconds after whistle blow.

d. A robot is stopped for more than 10 seconds.
e. A robot is moved outside of the play field for 10 seconds.

1.0. Objective
Provide a platform for student to showcase their creativity, innovative and
programming skills. They are required to work together as a team to design a robot
based on the given theme. Besides, they will also need to present and demonstrate their
robot creation well to convince and impress the judges.

2.0. Robot Dimension and Weight


1. The size and weight of the robot is not limited.

3.0. Restriction on Robot Design


1. For Creative MRT Robot kit category: Only MRT series of products are to be used to
build the robot. There is no limitation to the amount of blocks used to build the
robot. You are allowed to cross use the parts from the above mentioned systems
for the robots.
2. Robots shall not damage any part of the field or obstacles deliberately
3. There is no size and weight limitation for the robot.
4. Robots can use and add other materials such as camera, sensors, paper, rings, clips,
chopsticks, paper cups, and 3D Printing materials etc.
5. VAC (Volt of Alternating Current) power supplies are strictly prohibited for safety
reasons.
6. Robots shall not cause any danger to the arena and surroundings in anyway
whatsoever.
7. Robots will need to protect their sensors if necessary from any outside
interferences.

4.0. Game Rules


4.1. Method of a Match
1. Participants shall build a robot in advance.
2. Participants are given 1 hours duration to prepare their robot.
3. Each group has presentation time of 3 minutes to introduce their robots to the
referee.
4. Robots may be displayed in/around the venue. The team members or teacher
may keep the robots and explain to the public.

4.2. Competition
1. During the preparation time of robot, judges can interview the participants
randomly. Participant should answer the question sincerely as this is part of the
evaluation.

2. The question is related to the construction of the robot.
3. There are 2 round of assessment.
a. Round 1: participants should presenting their robot. After that, judges
will challenge participants to modify their mechanical (hardware) part or
code programming (software) depend on judges request. Each team will
be given 10 minutes to prepare their modified robot on ROUND 2.
b. Round 2: Participant should showing their modified robot.

4.3. Theme: UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)


The 6 themes are selected among 17 SDGs proposed by the United Nations and
the addition of 1 general theme. The robot can be based on one of the following
field ONLY:
a. Zero Hunger.
b. Good Health and Well Being.
c. Clean Water and Sanitation.
d. Affordable and Clean Energy.
e. Sustainable Cities and Communities.
f. National Defense.

4.4. Robot Manual


1. Participants should submit the robot manual (in A4 size booklet) and the related
material such as poster, photos to the organizer before the presentation.
2. The operation of the robot should according to manual.
3. The program coding of robots should provide to KRON committee in advance.
4. The manual should consist of:
a. Robot Name.
b. Purpose.
c. Team member introduction and task allocation.
d. Introduction of the project.
e. Specification and feature.
f. How to program (if needed).
g. Functionality of robot.

4.5. Deciding the Winner


1. All winner’s robot design copyright (3D design file, programming source code,
etc) are belong to the organizer.
2. Participants must have one robot manual and their robot must be able to
function.
3. Score shall consist of :

1.0. Objective
IoT Games is a competition that applies the concept of the Internet of Things, which
all the data exchange that occurs during the competition between the robot and remote
involves Internet as a medium of data communication.
The theme in this game is mining which the robot has a mission to bring cylinder
containing minerals to the shelter. The robot will pass through various of obstacles to
rich the shelter.
Participants are required to create a robot with a wireless control system via the
Internet network. Participants are challenged to do simple programming skill to control
the robot that supports the IoT concept. Furthermore, the robot must bring the cylinder
to the shelter with the fastest time
There will be 2 participants in each team who will work together to complete a
mission, one participant controls the robot and the other holds the flag

2.0. Robot Dimension and Weight


1. The size of the robot shall not exceed 30cm (length) x 30cm (width) for 1.5 kg
weight.
2. There’s no height restriction and it may take any shape and size once the match
begin.

3.0. Restriction on Robot Design


1. Robot are suggested to use MRT 3 or MRTDuino mainboard.
2. Only maximum 2 number motor DC, 1 number servo, 1 mainboard, and 1 Node MCU.
3. Robot are not allowed to have any power supply above 9V DC, and battery type must
be AA / AAA / 6F22.
4. Robots shall not damage the arena deliberately.
5. Robots shall not throw liquid or powder or other subtances at the opponent.

4.0. Robot Control


1. Robot shall be remote controlled with any form of wireless control.
2. Interference with opponents control system is strictly prohibited.
3. Participants should take the necessary considerations of their own wireless remote
control interferences if any.

4. Organizers will not be responsible for outside wireless interferences. No external
physical intervention is allowed.
5. Robot must be connected to provided Wi-Fi by the committee to get Internet access,
while remote is free to get Internet connection from anywhere except provided Wi-Fi
by the committee.

5.0. Game Rules


5.1. Length of a Match
1. Each game is stipulated for 5 minutes.
2. In the following cases, a match will end even before 5 minutes.
a. In the event of disqualification.
b. Participants declare to surrender.

5.2. Building of Robot

1. Participant are have to programming Node MCU and Remote for connection
setting to connect remote and the robot through Internet network.
2. Each team will have 2 participants and each student have different task.
1. Participant A: Control the robot to bring all the object to the shelter with the
fastest time.
2. Participant B: Lift the flag if team wants to declare a retry.
3. If the participant states retry, the robot will be placed at the nearest checkpoint
that has been skipped. Participants apply retry if the robot can not move due to
slip or reversed.
4. Each team can do any tactics or manuever their robot to grab object to the
shelter.

5.4. Point
1. Each cylinder that was successfully brought to the shelter earns 20 points. There
are 2 cylinders, then maximum total point of all cylinders is 40 points.
2. Each mineral that was successfully brought to the shelter will earn 2 points. Each
cylinder contains 10 minerals. There are 20 minerals from 2 cylinder, then the
maximum total point of the all minerals is 40 points. Minerals coming out of the
cylinder can not be returned with a retry.
3. Robots that have passed the see-saw when carrying the object will get 20 points
although only once passed.

5.5. Deciding the Winner


1. Within 5 minutes, the team who succesfully get the most points with the fastest
time will be the winner.

3.0. Game Rules


3.1. Length of a Match
1. Programming, trial, and match session will be given for 3 hour.
a. Programming: 1 hours.
b. Trial and match: 2 hours.
c. When match session, each team have only 5 minutes to run their robot.

3.2. Starting the Drone


1. Whistle will be blown as a sign of start of the match.
2. The participant shall keep a distance from the game field during the game.

3.3. Competition Task


1. Once the game started, the drone must go through the route of the game to
complete all the mission set.
2. Robot must STOP at the END POINT after finished all the missions for time
recording purpose.

4.0. Deciding the Winner


1. Robot reached the END POINT with highest marks will win the competition.
2. Total 8 Missions (air gate). Each Successfully completed mission will be awarded 10
points.
3. 5 point will be awarded in case an air gate or an obstacle that needs to be crossed is
not effectively crossed or touch the air gate.
4. The winner will be the participants who able to complete the task with highest score
in the shortest time.
5. If the score is the same for two participants, the shortest time will be the winner.

measured on the diagonal of the engines’ axes.

1. Maximum propellers diameter is 80 mm.
2. Full metal propellers are forbidden.

5.0. Game Rules


5.1. Length of a Match
1. Each game is stipulated for 3 minutes.
2. 1 minutes setup and practice flight time is provided before the start of each
match.

5.2. Competition Task


1. All the match will be based on “knock out” system. All the pilots will be
distributed in opposing pairs by ISEF committee randomly.
2. The winner of a match shall proceed to the next round.
3. During the match, the pilot must remain inside the pilot area.
4. Pass all the air gate in case to get the point.
5. In case an air gate or an obstacle that needs to be crossed is not effectively
crossed, the pilot may try to execute a maneuver to cross the air gate or the
obstacle again without touch the drone.

5.3. Deciding The Winner


1. Within 3 minutes, the pilot with fastest time and highest point will be the
winner.

player would be IMMEDIATELY disqualified, If found guilty
3. Robot shall not damage any part of the field or obstacles deliberately.
4. Robot shall not cause any danger to the arena & surroundings in anyway whatsoever.
5. Robot will need to protect their sensors if necessary from outside interferences.
6. Robots RC receiver will need to be protected from any outside interferences.

3.0. Game Rules


3.1. Length of a Match
Each game is stipulated for 5 minutes.

3.2. Building of Robot


1. Prebuilt and programmed.
2. The battery specification, length of robot leg and arm should strictly adhere to
the instruction manual.
3. The appearance of the humanoid can be modified by changing color and
accessories.
4. The movement of the robot can be programmed freely.

3.3. Starting the Robot


1. Whistle will be blown as a sign of start of the match.
2. Participant is allowed to start (SWITCH ON) the robot using single switch
operation.
3. The participant shall keep a distance from the game field during the game.
4. The humanoid can be controlled using any Android phone under flight mode
except Aelos Humanoid robot.

3.4. Competition Task


3.4.1. Line Core m
1. Once the game started,the robot must go through the route of the
game to complete all the mission set.

2. Robot must STOP at the END POINT after finished all the missions for time
recording purpose.
3. Once the whistle blown, the robot can start to move from the START
POINT
4. Total 5 Missions:
 Mission 1: Robot needs to crawl under obstacles placed on the
passage. Successfully completed mission will be awarded 20 points.

 Mission 2: Robot needs to use hand to carry the props (6cm soft
sponge cube) and robot legs must cross the red line before dropping
the props to designated area. Successfully completed mission will be
awarded 20 points.

 Mission 3: The robot needs to use a foot to kick the soccer ball(2 balls)
into the slot lable with 16/18/20/18/16. The ball successfully enters into
highest point slot will be recorded.

 Mission 4: Robots need to cross above the obstacles placed in the
passage. Successfully completed mission will be awarded 20 points.

 Mission 5: Robot can only walk through the two steps staircase (walk
up stairs – 5 points, walk down stairs – 5 points) and then walk
through the Z- type route to reach the end (10 points).

 If the participant unable to complete mission 1, 2, 4, 5, Allow to


reattempt with referee approval. Maximum 2 attempts. Allow to give
up the mission and there will be no score for this mission.
 For mission 4 & 5, robot is not allow to roll over. There will be no
points if roll over.
 Robot moves out of game field, referee is responsible to put it back in
the game field. Participant is not allow to touch the robot during the
game. After two warning given by referee, game terminated.
 If foul during the match, no points will be given even the robot stops at
the END POINT.
 Participant can give up any mission without any points. Must get
approval from referee beforehand.

5. The parts which are fallen or broken from the robot cannot fix back onto
the robot during the match.
6. Once robot stops at END POINT, timer will be stop.
7. There will be a secret mission that will be given by the jury during the
competition. Prepare yourself as best as you can

3.4.2. Aelos
1. The robot must act as someone responsible for the cleanliness of the
surrounding environment.
2. The game starts when the referee blows the whistle.
3. The initial position of the robot is beside the river.
4. There are 5 tasks that must be completed.
 Task 1: Take garbage in the river then transfer it to the trash. There are
several garbage with varied loads. Points will be calculated based on
the weight of the waste that has been transferred to the trash. The
maximum points on this mission 1 are 5 points.

1. Participants are required to build a humanoid robot that is capable pick
up and collecting or bring all cylindrical object into container to the save
zone. The game field has the shape of several room. The robot that is able

to pick up, collect the most cylindrical objects with the fastest time will be
the winner.
2. Pick up and storing each cylindrical object (yellow cylinder) located inside
the room into robot container.
3. After all objects have been collected in a robot container, store them in a
safe zone
4. For each object (yellow cylinder) saved to save zone 25 points will be
given.
5. If the robot falls 3 times then the mission is considered complete.
6. There will be a secret mission that will be given by the jury during the
competition. Prepare yourself as best as you can.
