measurements at 2 kV test voltage

■■ Large frequency range, DC to 1 kHz

■■ Compact design, weight only 4.4 kg

The testing capabilities of IDAX are extended with

the addition of the high voltage amplifier VAX020.
The voltage output increment from 200 V up to 2 kV
(peak) is the most assertive solution to challenging DFR
measurements in high interference environments (e.
g. HVDC substations) or while measuring at very low
frequencies on low capacitance objects (e.g. bushings
and instrument transformers).

VAX020 allows not only HV DFR measurements but

also measurement of excitation current, capacitances
up to 80 nF at 50 Hz (67 nF @ 60 Hz) and hot collar

OTD Oil Tan Delta
Oil Tester

■■ Oil Tan Delta tester measures Tan Delta,

Relative Permittivity and Resistivity of
insulating oils

■■ Fully automated standard and user defined

tests - Supports all international standards

■■ Integrated test cell heating and cooling

systems

■■ Efficient oil fill and integrated automated

oil drain facility

■■ IEC 60247 Innovative Test Cell - easy to

■■ Stores up to 50 records on-board and

download to PC

■■ Compact and lightweight (22 kg / 48.5 lbs)

The Oil Tan Delta (OTD) is a laboratory instrument,

which measures the Tan Delta, Resistivity and Relative
Permittivity of insulating liquids. These tests give a
wider picture of the overall quality of the insulating oil,
and will indicate if there is any contamination. Megger
has developed features of the OTD to ensure that
productivity levels within laboratories are maximized.

PowerDB Pro Features

Compliance Scheduler
Asset maintenance scheduling tool provides a quick
overview and visual aid to help track compliance status
and maintain necessary maintenance schedules. Create
jobs or work orders, locate test records and manage
repair work.

PowerDB Dashboard
Convenient, web-based portal for viewing test data on
any device using a standard browser program. The main
console includes statistical modules and allows you to
search for and display any saved information, and is
organized around the PowerDB results database.

Custom Alerts
Alert manager system sends automated email or text
alerts based on alert conditions set by the user. These can
be asset condition or status, time-based maintenance or
data threshold alerts. Reports are created and sent with
the alert that contains the assets and the condition that
triggered the alert.

Enterprise Systems Integration

Custom data exchange maximizes data flow and
bridges data gaps while eliminating redundancy. Field
data automatically feeds analytic models for improved
forecasting.

Megger has developed a comprehensive series of Transformer Life

Management (TLM) bulletins that broadly cover the fundamentals of
managing the life of a transformer. The bulletins span topics from
moisture in transformers to each of the many electrical tests available
to assess the condition of a transformer or instrument transformer.

Megger TLM bulletins include recent and significant developments

in the electrical test domain, assuring that students subscribing
to your library are informed of the latest, including:

■■ Dynamic winding resistance (the variations of and

differences in dynamic measurements)

■■ Individual temperature correction (ITC)

■■ Dielectric frequency response (DFR) for

transformers and bushings

■■ How to increase the efficiency of testing

through test lead management solutions
like “One-time Connection” and a true
