MANAGEMENT 5 there were many subjects I need
experience to learn.I could not use too
during high much time on just one subject
school or too short time either.Time
management is what I learned
druing that period.I used to
make Gantt chart everyday to
distribute my time.For example,
I learned mathematics for two
hours in the morning, after that,
I reviewed English for three
hours in the afternoon. This
skill really helped me a lot.We
all know that there are only 24
hours a day, but if we can
manage our time well , the
more effective result we will
get.

PRESSURE Media subject.This subject is
like communicate with social
media, such as the announcer
and film writer etc. I had to
attend many interviews face to
face. Feeling stressed is a
normal situation to me. Every
when I was under pressure, I
might prepare harder and tell
myself that I can do this.
Psychological hint and plenty of
 preparation is my own way to
manage pressure.Because I do
not often feel shy when speak in
front of people, so I think I am
quite good at emotion and
pressure management.

RESPONSIBILITY part-time job I used to worked in a liquor
stores as an intern last summer
when I was in China.Everyday I
went to work, our team would
have an encouragement
meeting. We shouted slogans to
increase morale. It was at that
moment I felt taht I really like
my work and I was willing to
work hard.The initiation was
built during that time.I thought I
has responsibility to myself, my
colleagues and my work.

CUSTOMER 1 2 3 4 My uncle and my aunt have a

helping family hometown.Last year I went
to sell things back to my hometown and they
let me to help them when thay
were out.Basiclly I was just
standing behind the
counter.Once a man came in
and asked me where the beer
was,of course I did not know
where the beer was, so I told
him I was new here and I need
to ask my uncle. I was very
patient and polit, after I called
my uncle I got him the beer he
wanted.I was quiet proud about
myself at that moment.
Customer service is really
 important to the company and
business people.I was raised to
be a polit child by my parents
when I was very young, so I
think this is my advantage.

experience students needed to work as
about work in teams and do some research. At
group first, we 6 people introduced
ourseleves to each other. After
that, we started to allocate jobs.
I think this is an important part
for team work. We did the work
which we were allocated and
discussed the results. When
doing the research , we faced
some difficulties and we solved
them together. I took part in
every situation and I think team
work is really innitial to work.

COMMUNICATIO 1 2 3 4 Communication skill is our

studying abroad deal with many things. I think
the period when I am studying
abroad teaches me many
communication skills.It is quite
different between Chinese
communication and English
communication.In Chinese
unniversities, we do not often
use emails to contact tutors,
instead of this, we use nomal
social media apps such as QQ
and Wechat to contact them.
Since I started to study in
University of Chester, I was
getting familier with email
communication. This is a new
 communication skill which I
learned these days. Now if I
have any question, I will ask
my teachers through emails or
contact them by emails and then
meet them face to face.I am
good at observing people and I
can feel their emotion changing
. This is a key to
communication with
others.Always considerating
others and the situation.

ICT SKILLS 1 2 3 4 study With technology developing

5 experience rapidly nowadays, I started to
use computer and have access
to Internet since I was young.I
can use MS work, databases
etc. skillfully and use many
different ways to contact people
through Internet. When I
studied in Chinese university,
the teachers often asked us
students to make presentation
with powerpoint. At first , I
could not use it well, I asked
teacher for help and after that I
could use it well.

ORGANISATIONA 1 2 3 4 When I was preparing a

internet just copy all the relative
information and use them
generally, what I needed to do
is screening and making the
information organized.I put all
the info I got and divided them
into different types,extracted
the most important parts and
make all these be one part.This
 skill is quite important when
doing the research, if it used
well , the work will be more
effective.

come in a really effective way
on how I handle situations at
work in order to keep a calm,

I have learned since my critical

on concentrating to receive my

COMPUTING AND 1 2 3 4 studying abroad Schools never allowed the

NUMERACY 5 use of calculators. I always
wondered why we couldn’t
use calculators while schools
across the world were
allowed, but now when I look
back, I realize why. Doing
basic calculations mentally,
without the use of a
calculator has helped me
sharpen my numeracy skill.

skills, I spent a lot of time
interacting with others.

By meeting new people,

conversing with them and
getting to know them, I have
developed intuition about
people and gradually
become better at attuning to
them and building a
connection with them. It’s not
enough to just interact with
others. It’s central to also
take risks when doing so.
This means expressing your
true thoughts and feelings,
and behaving in an authentic
manner.

This is important because if I

just stick to behaving during
a social interaction in ways
that are very strict and safe,
you don’t really experiment
and explore the possibilities.
And this makes it harder for
my social skills to expand.
One of the best ways to gain
social skills is through
modeling others. I interacted
with people who have good
social skills, and study their
mannerisms and learn from
them.

So, I seek to meet

individuals who are people
savvy and hang out with
them a lot. I have noticed
that just by doing this, my
social skills were going up.
