ORDER:

Government have received certain allegations regarding illegal mining in the


forest areas in Totapalli Reserve Forest and formation of road in between the
Girijanapuram Reserve Forest and Lingamparthi Reserve Forest in Prathipadu
Mandal in East Godavari District without obtaining necessary permission from the
competent authorities and in violation of the provisions of the Forest
(Conservation) Act, 1980 and the Andhra Pradesh Forest Act, 1967.

2. Government after careful consideration, hereby appoint Shri.R.G.Kalaghatgi,


IFS, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests(Administration), O/o the Principal Chief
Conservator of Forests and Head of the Forest Force, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad
to enquire into the allegations and submit his detailed report duly fixing the
responsibility for initiating further disciplinary action against the persons concerned
for such gross irregularities and violations of the provisions of Forest
(Conservation) Act, 1980 and the Andhra Pradesh Forest Act, 1967. The inquiry
shall be completed within a period of one month and the inquiry report shall be
submitted to the Government for taking necessary further action.

3. Principal Chief Conservator of Forests and Head of Forest Force, Andhra


Pradesh, Hyderabad shall take necessary further action accordingly.
