Healing and the Mystery of Grace 15 - 17 November
Explore the mystical component of healing and the profound role that grace and
prayer play in the process, with the passionate presentation of Caroline Myss.
Why we heal, and how we heal, are among the most intriguing questions of
human experience. The more we learn about healing, the more we realise that
our healing encompasses every component of our life.
Join us to explore the mystical component of healing and the profound role of grace and prayer.
This event is closely linked to James Finley’s workshop, which follows immediately afterwards.
Letting go
James Finley 8 - 21 November
After his very successful Findhorn debut last year, James Finley brings back his unique
and powerful wisdom for another unmissable event, a 3-day intensive closely linked to
Caroline Myss: Healing and the Mystery of Grace.
Meister Eckhart, the 14th century Christian mystic asks, What is the joy that death
does not have power to destroy and how can I discover it? In this retreat we allow
Eckhart to guide us toward this deathless joy in which we come to a profound experience of God as the reality of ourselves,
others and all things. Time will be given for group meditation, personal reflection and there will be discussion of these themes:
Who was Meister Eckhart and what are the guiding principles of his teachings; Setting out on the path of detachment - dying to
the illusions that imprison us; The birth of the word in the soul - discovering God to be the reality of ourselves, others, and all
things; Breakthrough into the Godhead - passing into the infinite emptiness.

SPIRITUAL MENTORING
For many years we have been asked by our guests if there are ways to continue a relationship with the Foundation on a personal
basis. By using the telephone for coaching and support we are now able to meet this need.
This service was designed mainly for people who have already attended programmes at the Foundation and who would like to
have ongoing support in embodying the principles that they encountered while visiting here. We also offer this service to those
who have yet to visit the Findhorn Foundation. Our mentors are experienced, long-term community members who can assist
you in planning a programme of spiritual practice, encourage and support you in your practice, and suggest new techniques or
approaches to enhance your practice.
It could be for you if you want to deepen your sense of spiritual growth and direction, you would like support in developing and
maintaining your spiritual practice, or you find it useful to have access to a variety of perspectives on spiritual matters.
OUTREACH education
Our Outreach Education is an important aspect of the work of the Findhorn Foundation.
We offer workshops, trainings and presentations sharing the values and group skills
developed here in Findhorn through meditation, attunement, games, dance, song, contact
with nature, and working toward a grounded and positive future. We respond to invitations
from all over the world.
If you would like to set up an event in your area, please get in touch.

Findhorn FOUNDATION
The Findhorn Foundation offers a range of holistic workshops, programmes and events in
the unique environment of our working community and ecovillage. Our programmes are an
integral part of the community’s work and give participants practical experience of how to
apply spiritual and holistic values in daily life. At Findhorn there is the potential for education to
take place 24 hours each day, with every person and situation we meet, and actively contribute
towards creating a positive and sustainable future for humankind and the planet.

The College provides transformative education based on a holistic approach to sustainability and
personal empowerment. Its courses in further and higher education integrate experiential and
academic learning within the context of the Findhorn ecovillage. A new range of CPD (Continued
Professional Development) courses are being added this year, including supervision training
and courses in sustainable construction. The college is increasingly collaborating with Scottish
Findhorn College Universities and other partners. We offer opportunities for field studies and research, as well
as residential modules for innovative masters programmes on various aspects of an integrative
approach to sustainability. For more information please visit our website: www.findhorncollege.org

Minimising our
ecological footprint
As a spiritual community, education centre and ecovillage, the Findhorn Foundation aims to live lightly on the planet.
While recognising the positive effect of our programmes, we are also exploring further ways of minimising our carbon
emissions and offsetting the residual. From now on we will produce just one full brochure of our programmes and
events each year, instead of two. This PDF brochure is lighter on the planet and replaces our second brochure - you can
print only what you need!
You can also help the environment by choosing not to receive printed copies of our brochure or poster in future. If
you would like to transfer to our email update list, to be notified when our brochure is available online, please email:
[email protected] with your details.
