Drawing from live models in life drawing sessions helped develop my artistic skills in figure drawing and understanding realistic human proportions, which has benefited my character and environment designs. While analyzing the human form and applying it to my work was challenging, I believe with more practice my skills in drawing the human form will continue to improve.

LIFE DRAWING REFLECTIVE STATEMENT

The life drawing sessions throughout the first year have been thoroughly enlightening and have helped
developed my artistic skills in both figure drawing and realistic proportions extending to character
design. It has greatly helped in creating interestingly designed characters and the environments they
interact with. Analysing the human form and applying to the rest of my work has been challenging and
I think it will require more time to raise my skills within that area of expertise.
