Pinging result, Verification of the connectivity from PC0 to PC1


Questions:

A. In that scenario, would PC1 have acquired an IP address over DHCP?

Answer: No

B. Why?

Answer: because crossover cables only works with the same type of
devices.

C. What about PC0? Would it have acquired an IP address via DHCP if PC1 was
connected to BranchSwitch through a cross-over cable?

Answer: PC0 will still acquire an IP Address because it still uses the
straight-through cable.
