- Manage commercial staff, supervise the preparation of pre-qualifications submissions, • To assist with dispute resolution and claims planning matters on multiple projects,
commercial review of tenders, sub-contract tender and related documentation; including construction scheduling, delay and disruption analysis.
- Oversee the project cash-flow by timely, complete and proper submission of interim • Project based tasks to include fact-finding to detailed analysis, quantification of delay
applications; and damages, economic modelling, and strategy formation.
- Continually work towards, prepare and agree on project final account; • Demonstration of critical paths & consequent disruption etc.
- Develop and manage project commercial strategy; • Development of the master and construction schedules, liaison with works packages

- Manage all contract arrangements and documentation;
- Draft appropriate contract documents and prepare necessary commercial reports;
- Report on the project financial position including monthly cost value reconciliations
and project forecasting;
Managing estimating and cost planning activities to include taking ownership of and
presenting the final cost plan.
Managing the procurement process, ensuring that all stages including pre-qualification,
enquiry, analysis, selection and contract preparation are performed effectively.
Ensuring that post-contract cost variances and change control processes are managed
effectively.
Ensuring that cost checking and valuation work is managed effectively.
Ensuring the production of monthly post-contract cost reports and presenting them to
the client value engineering and life cycle costing.
Ensuring that final accounts are negotiated and agreed taking a lead role in interfacing
with the client and other consultants, at all project stages where appropriate, leading a
cost management team, ensuring that they deliver on all of the above accountabilities.
Requirements:

Coordinate actions with internal procurement and legal teams if needed. Perform and manage project activity scheduling and monitoring.
Create language standards and rules for existing and new contracts. Coordinate and work with the project management team to resolve project issues

?Examine the tender thoroughly, to accurately determine the quantity of the materials
required so as to prepare bill of quantity for the Estimates department to provide
rational and competitive estimates enabling the company to win the tender.
Contract Manager Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor
?Prepare the Valuation report every month for each project till completion to keep
track of all jobs completed (and their costs), prepare and submit the claim to the client /
consultant for approval, receive the value certificate for the agreed value and forward
the same to accounts for further action.
?Prepare the payment certificates for sub-contractors once value certificates are
received and based on the jobs completed; arrange to pay them in according to terms
specified in their contracts.
?Prepare cost reports clearly indicating the status of processed, received and pending
payments, obtain approval from the CM and forward the same to Accounts.
?Prepare detailed specifications and obtain the estimates of additional cost from the
estimates department in case of a variation i.e. a change in approved drawing or any
addition to the job in order to obtain approval of the client.
?Prepare final accounts once the job is completed, coordinate with the site engineer to
confirm all works are costed, prepare and attach necessary supporting documents,
obtain approval of the CM and receive a payment certificate from the client in order to
enable the company to collect outstanding amount on due date.
?Float, receive, evaluate the enquiry for the sub-contract items, prepare a detailed
comparison of the quality of the items and the price quoted by them, obtain the CM?s
approval and appoint the appropriate sub-contractors.
?Guide and motivate subordinates to enhance performance and produce quality work.
