answer them. Dress up. Look professional. Pay attention to your body language.
Show you really want to get that job. Remember to use the grammar structures
and vocabulary you have practiced within this learning activity.
1. If you could start your career over again, what would you do differently?
If I could start my career over again I think I wouldn’t have wasted so much time, I would learn
more things and listen to my teachers more. But in general terms I wouldn’t change many things
because I think it was good.
2. During your performance reviews, what criticism do you hear the most?
Some people say that I'm an impatient person who is looking for immediate results in my work
team. I consider myself a perfectionist person and sometimes it's a bad quality.
3. Tell me about your last position?
Currently, I’m working as an assistant in a big company here in the city. I've been working there for
2 years I`m in charge of reviewing and supervising the projects each week . It’s a good experience,
and I’ve learned a lot in this work.
I think that loving your work and what you do is the most important thing, but you can’t leave
behind the responsibility and your commitment to work. When you love your job, everything is
easier, Ideas flow and you don’t work under pressure.
5. How have you changed professionally speaking in the last two years?
I think having experience or working in your field is the most important thing to build your
professional life, Since I finished my career I’ve been working with good companies which have
helped me to grow professionally, to change my thinking and being a mature person.
I think it would be great to have a kind manager, a person who always has a smile on his face,
open-minded and listen to his team, a person who cares about the people who work with him and
communicative what he want and what he expect from the team.
Because I think change is necessary when you don’t feel good in a place, is a company that I like a
lot but to continue growing as a professional it is necessary to change. Start working in a big
company that gives me more experience in the field.
9. In your previous position, how much time did you spend learning how to do things better?
As I said before I’m a perfectionist person, so it didn’t take me long time to learn the new things
about this job, I tried every day to do better, until it was very easy for me.
10. If you’re very happy with your current job, why do you want to leave?
As I said in a previous question, for me, to be better every day in my professional field it is
necessary to change, to know other thoughts, different ideas, another way of working different
from the one I'm used to, It is a new opportunity to grow in the profession and to acquire more
experience.
