Planning
 At the planning stage, it is necessary to organize and secure materials, equipment, tools
and services that may be used in a work order or project. The Material Shopping Cart aids
in this step by providing a quick search that fully incorporates with SAP’s built-in processes
and allows users to easily retrieve materials and services. The Work Order Mass Change
solution provides benefits at both the planning and scheduling stages by allowing users to
change multiple fields at once via a list edit. This helps planners and schedulers organize
and maintain their backlog while eliminating the need to continually repeat the same
action.

Scheduling
 The Scheduler simplifies scheduling work orders and activities by providing an interactive,
graphical interface in a Gantt chart format. By scheduling graphically, users are able
to view, interpret, and analyze large amounts of work order data on a single screen.
Furthermore, schedulers can manipulate work schedules and link them to relationships
using drag and drop functionality. Due to the time savings and improved usability that the
Scheduler provides, most customers see ROI in less than 12 months.

Leveling
 Oftentimes schedulers find that the scheduled workload exceeds the capacity available.
With standard SAP this is difficult to visualize, and often contributes to production
interruptions. The Auto Level function helps keep work capacity in check by allowing the
scheduler to examine the current workload and level it off at the maximum capacity for
each day so that workers are not overcommitted. Thus, work is assigned to areas where it
can be accommodated and the production is not impacted.

Printing
 During the execution stage, the Order to Task List & BOM features can help save even
more time for planners and schedulers. In standard SAP it is not possible to populate a task
list from a work order, however the Order to Task List & BOM tool allows users to convert
current and future work orders to a reusable task list. This helps save time when planning
routine work that will be repeated in the future. Likewise, O2BOM improves on standard
SAP functionality by allowing the user to update any BOM type directly from an existing
work order.

Execution
 The Prometheus Work Package Manager is another powerful solution that saves time for
