1. INTRODUCTION OF THE EMPLOYEES JOB SATISFACTION

 Employee job satisfaction is the terminology used to describe whether

employee are happy contented and fulfilling their desires and needs at work

many measures purpose that employee job satisfaction is a factor in

employee motivation, employee goal achievement and positive employee

morale in the work place.

 Employee job satisfaction refers to a person feeling of satisfaction on

the job. Which act of a motivation to work. It is not self – satisfaction,

happiness or self contentment but it deals with satisfaction on the job.

 The job satisfaction relates to the total relationship between an

individual and the employee for which he paid satisfaction Does mean for

which he is paid satisfaction mean the simple feeling – state accompanying

the attainment by an impelled objective.


OBJECTIVES ON THE STUDY:

 To measure the employee job satisfaction level of IRULAPPA Mills.

 To study the employee perception towards organization.

 To identify the factors that motivates the employees.

 To give suggestions for the growth & perspective of the company.

 Know the satisfaction level of existing reward system.


SCOPE ON THE STUDY:

 Job satisfaction is an important output employee work for

organization.

 The report is useful to the management of the company to know the

satisfaction levels of employee and they can take measure to increase

productivity.

 This report may be useful to the management students for reading, and

may be useful in preparing their report on the job satisfaction “in

business concerns public organization.

 A study made on the topic of job satisfaction will reveal the factor of

feeling of Employees.
LIMITATION OF THE STUDY

 There were many procedural and bureaucratic delays in getting the

questionnaire filled.

 Due to the vast area the arability of few respondents was difficult.

 It time at disposal of the researcher was limited

 The perception of the individual employees defers.

 There was only limited time to conduct the survey.


1.5 RESEARCH METHODSOLOGY

Primary data:

 Primary data’s are collected from the respondents through structured


interview schedule.

Secondary data:

 Secondary data’s are collected from various material magazines and


internet.

Sampling methods:

 The main objective of the study is to measure the attitude of the customer
towards IRULAPPA MILLS INDIA PVT LTD for this purpose sample
of 50 customers were selected through convenience sampling method.
These 50 sample respondents belongs to various socio – economic status
favouring the objective of the study
Sample size:

 The researcher has takes the sample size 50 respondents for the research
purpose. Sample size has been decided with a consideration of the
available time and the Expenses for the researchers.

INDUSTRIAL PROFILE

 In modern fashion technology the demand for perfection begins right at the

birth if the raw material, permeates through every single process, till the highly

discerning customer dons the finished garment. It is this demand for perfection

that has spurred the growth of an organization and its corporate philosophy.

 Those who can furnish clients with the best quality, competitive price excellent

customer service and prompt delivery can only survey in the market super

spinning mills limited take immense pride in perceiving its role as the

comprehensive architect of every single yarn that its produces.

 Sara Elgin is a multi – unit multi – interest business group with a wide range of

industrial activity, an organisation that has founded its evolution on value –

based commercial practice. Super spinning mills limited was established in

1962 with an initial capacity of 12,000spindles.

 Over its four decades of chequered growth it has expanded to 1, 66,526 spindles

spread over 4 operational unit the company commenced operations with the

manufacture of grey, gassed mercerised and dyed cotton yarn. Today, the

company has carved a niche on the textile map of the country.

 India spinning industry has gone from strength to strength since a very long

time now as it was the hub of cotton manufacturing


 . Cotton is not only consumed to the highest extent in India but it has also

become one of the most profitable textiles in the export industry.

 Spinning in India can be classification into 2 categories: medium and long

staple but here was a shortfall in the extra – long categories that continued for

continued for many years. There was a massive downfall in the cotton spinning

in India during 2004 – 2005. The production rate of cotton was about 4 lakh

bales. Mr. P. D Patodai, the Chair

 man of the standing Committee on cotton, CITI – CDRA said that the

manufacturing of cotton will rise to 11 – 12 lakes bales in 2010.

 The present downfall in the cotton production has witnessed a 50 % increase in

the price of India varieties of ELS, which is detrimental for the spinning

industry in India. Spinning mills require domestic accessibility of ELS cotton in

increased quantity and of better fibbers qualities.

To survive this downfall in the cotton trade which is a highly profitable textile in
the India spinning industry, CITI - CDRA is conducting a conference with various
research organizations such as CICR (Nagpur), JNKVV (KHANDWA) USA
(award) and Regional Textile Mills’ Association in R&D activities. It conducted a
discussion pertaining to the development of new varieties or seeds and adopting
the advanced procedure of cultivation which will add to the profit in the cotton
textile sector of the spinning industry. The most important and
 Efficient step towards the resurgence of cotton manufacturing of cotton develop

the ELS varieties with lesser duration crops and yield to cost effectiveness and

consistency in cultivation. This will not only motivate the farmers but will also

make them stick to the desired sector of cotton crop.

 The yarn spinning industry covers almost 25 percent of the total industrial

production of one of the words 10 largest economics. Trends are reviewed

every year in accordance with the needs and fashion. An elaborate and detailed

assessment is made on various sectors of the yarn spinning such as, production

consumption, and materials. The legislative and the political consequences are

also reviewed at the same time. In addition to it, other areas that are being

reviewed in the yarn spinning sector are export, import, price, advertising, and

sales promotion patterns.

SUGGESTION

 Suggestion of the superior should solve employee grievance effectively.

 Monthly once should be meeting conducted between HR and the employee

monthly once.

 Need much more effective training.

 Proper award (both monetary & non-monetary).

 Should be provided to extra ordinary performance.

 Provide all kinds of loans with low interest to the employees.


CONCLUSION

 A study on employee job satisfaction in IRULAPPA MILLS SEVUGAMPATTI.

From the study we understand that the majority of worker as colliding production

department, worker mostly are in the age group of above 40 years and most them

are female. They get marketing and workers. Most of the workers get between

8000 to 10000 and they are married. They come to work for maintaining their

nuclear family.

 Most of the workers opinion about their fob and job related questions were

strongly agree and agree that their relationship with their superiors. Sub-ordinates

and co-workers are good.
