Project AIM: (ARAL,IMPOK,MAY PAG-ASA) IN ARALING PANLIPUNAN)

THEME: “ LINGGO NG PAMILYANG LAGUNENYO SAMA SAMANG


IPAGDIWANG PARA SA BATANG PILIPINO ”

I. INTRODUCTION

Pursuant to Division Memorandum No. 197, s. 2016, as


part of the Schools Division of Laguna’s commitment to reach
out to all its diverse group of learners and their families,
strengthen its partnership with external stakeholders and
recognize their roles in the concerted school improvement.
Division Implementation of Project AIM(Aral, Impok, May
Pag-asa). This is a collaborative project of Department of
Education, Laguna District Federated General Parent and
Teacher Association and the Atikha Overseas Workers and
Communities Initiative Inc.

Project AIM run in one-week period which commences on


Dec. 5-9, 2016. Activities and other related celebration
conducted respectively, wherein the GPTA officers were
holding and organized as well as the fund for the income
generating scheme to meet the success of the event. For the
smooth implementation division and fruitful labor were given
in advance.

II. OBJECTIVES

1. Strengthen the relations between and among the members


of the family.

2. Inculcate in the minds of the young learners the value of all


the members of their family and the family itself.

3. Deepen parent’s understanding on their roles as models of


the Filipino family.

4. Address issues concerning Filipino migration.


III. HIGHLIGHTS OF ACCOMPLISHMENT

December 5, 2016, at exactly 8:00 in the bright Monday


morning. Kick off ceremony was done successfully. Organized
and coordinated with School Araling Panlipunan Coordinator
CONCEPCION F. BABAAN, together with the General PTA officers
and other stakeholders in PINAGSANJAN ELEMETARY SCHOOL.
Short program was conducted. Pupils in different grade level
showed their talents in Folk dancing, singing and reciting of
poems. Parents and guests were invited also during the first day
of the activity. During the day also, grades 4 to 6 teacher
advisers utilized the story of “ Nasaan si Nanay? Nasaan si Tatay?
In their lesson. The value of the story was really commemorated
in the young mind of the pupils, In short the real lives of the
OFW’s. Their lives were really redeeming through their hard
work and sacrifices. They are working far away from their
families just to give the basic needs and other necessities.

On the Second day, December 6, 2016, Poster Making was


held in the afternoon the contestants were grades 4- 6 pupils.
It was done simultaneously during the day.
On the Third day, December 7, 2016, Araling Panlipunan
Quizz Bee was conducted by the help of teachers and General
PTA officers. Exerted effort to give some prizes for the winners.
The said contest were executed by grade level from grades 4-6.
The contest category started from easy to difficult. Teachers
encoded the result of the pupils in every questions given.
On the fourth day of the activities, December 8, 2016, Essay
Writing were executed by the selected pupils from grades 5 to
6 pupils. While grade 4 pupils held an activity of writing a letter
to their parents. This activity were facilitated by the two
advisers Eulene C. Castillo and Joan Del Rosario.

Finally, On the 9th of the December, Family Day


celebration. A short program organized by the General PTA
guided by the teachers concern to become meaningful and
fruitful partners in the community.
Exactly 7:30 in the Morning the activity of appreciations and
recognitions were given to the untiring support given by the
stakeholders and active parents, in the said school. Followed
by Gift Giving . The activities were driven from Pre- Elem to
grades 6. Luckily , it is a chance for the less fortunate pupils to
be one of the recipients of the groceries, old toys, dresses and
school supplies. Showcase of Talents of teachers, parents and
pupils were also presented Lastly through the joint ventures of
Teachers, GPTA, Stakeholders, LGUs and SPG officers boodle
Fight were also done as the ending of the activity.

IV REFLECTIONS/RECOMMENDATIONS

Family is the smallest institution that provides and develop


initial child values formation and prior knowledge also
indulged.
Atikha is a non-government organization that provides
seminars and services to overseas Filipino and their families in
the Philippines. The organizations is willing to help and
inculcate the value of assisting the Filipino workers especially
who work abroad. It is a good partners to develop and bond
that cohort of providing help. It also showed that many
migrants are unable to save due probably to a crisis in the work
site.
Department of Education adopt this program to show that
Filipinos encouraged to be more practical and linient to the
modern leisure.
