Course Title: Course Description

This course is a two-unit first semester course that introduces students to physical fitness activities, wellness principles, and the methods for teaching fitness. Through a variety of fitness skills, students will develop competencies in aerobics, strength, flexibility and nutrition. Assessments will measure students' fitness levels. The course objectives are for students to understand rules and strategies of activities and develop skills to teach fitness to others.

COURSE TITLE: P.E.

1 (Physical Fitness)
COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course is designed to expose the students in many
fitness activities. Through this variety of fitness skills,
one will be more knowledgeable as to process of
continued fitness throughout one’s lifetime. The course
is also intended to introduce the students to the method
of procedure for teaching fitness, nutritional health, and
general wellness principles. Students will complete as
assessment measuring aerobics fitness, strength,
flexibility and nutrition.
COURSE CREDIT: Two (2) units
COURSE PLACEMENT: First semester, 1st year
COURSE OBJECTIVES: At the end of the course, the students should be able
to develop skills competencies and apply an
understanding of rules, skills and strategies of various
activities.
