Courses, Lectures and Instructors Violence in The Beginning: Hegel's Logic of Action

The Collegium Phaenomenologicum will hold its 39th annual session from July 7-26, 2014 in Città di Castello, Italy. The program is intended for faculty and advanced students in philosophy and related fields. It will include a series of lecture courses, individual lectures, and text-based seminars on topics such as Hegel's logic of action, Arendt and Derrida's work on time and forgiveness, and Derrida's writings on force, violence and power. Participants will be housed at a hotel in Città di Castello. The program fee is €275 and applications are due by February 15, 2014.

The Collegium Phaenomenologicum will convene for its thirty-ninth annual session in the Umbrian town of Città di Castello

from July 7–
26, 2014. The Collegium is intended for faculty members and advanced graduate and postdoctoral students in philosophy and related
disciplines. The core of the program consists in a series of lecture courses, individual lectures, and intensive text-based seminars.
A Participants Conference will be held July 5-6.

Participants will be comfortably housed at Hotel Le Mura (***) in the historic center of Città di Castello. The cost for room and board (full
pension) will be approximately €40 (double occupancy) and €52 (single room) per day. The program fee for the three-week session will be
€275. The deadline for applications is February 15, 2014.
