Model: E33NRHP-LNF-NS-00

The filed of motors either the servo motors or some other kind for the purpose of motion systems
being used in different industries are made and provided in different forms and modifications. The
example model number above indicates an E series (Sigma-x) NEMA 34 frame motor with stack
rotor. This motor is equipped with heavy-duty front-end bell and shaft, and sealed system rear end
bell with MS connectors.

There are different other types of steps motors available which can be used in replacement. The
Koll-morgen has developed a wide range of these step motors available for use.

The first letter E of the model shows the basic series or the system which is Sigma-x. The first
digit which is 3, shows the size of the motor which is 3 frame size in inches. The next number
represents the number of Rotor Stacks available in the motor and the next N shows that Stacks
are not available where N=NEMA type formation. The next alphabet shows the construction of
motor which is in the given case Regular or Lead-wire. The F shows number of winding per lead
and which are F=8 leads of the wire. The next alphabet shows the winding type and P shows here
the motor provides the maximum torque at high speed.

Laminated rotor type is given in the model provided here as it is shown by L. The next two
alphabets are indicating the shaft configuration and modifications where N is for Single
configuration type and smooth while F shows the Flat configuration. NS represents that no Feed-
back is provided for the desired model of the motor. In the end 00 shows a standard motor with no
seal.
