A. Introduction

"Once we believe in ourselves, we can risk curiosity, wonder, spontaneous

delight or any experience that reveals the human spirit." -E.E. Cummings

Having a little self-belief can stop you from living the life you want to live. It

may be quite easy for some to speak up their minds in front of a large audience.

He or she has worked on building this level of confidence for years, maybe by

themselves or with the help of others who has already overcome and conquered

their fear. You control your life. You control your self-confidence.

Believing in one's self is truly an individual's great achievement. It is one of

the most influential motivators and regulators of behavior. Self-confidence is

extremely important in almost every aspects of our lives. Possessing this will

yield to striving more out of them.

B. Statement of the Problem

Joining club organizations develops a student's confidence level.

If we'll look on the other side of the club members in Laguna Senior High

School in this present school year, we can see that all of them started in having a
low self-esteem. Actually, all of the students, the people rather started having a

low level of confidence.

Well apparently, self-confidence is not a thing which we are born with,

thus, it is something which is built through experiences. It is believing in one's self

which most of the students lack of having.

The question is, do club organizations really boost the level of confidence

of a student or it does not?

C. Purpose

The main objective of the study is to determine the possibility of the

improvement of the level of confidence of the club members who started in

having a low self-esteem in Laguna Senior High School. Specifically, the

researchers would like to perceive if the club organizations serve as an effective

instrument in boosting the self-confidence of the students or it doesn't.

D. Significance of the Study

This study is beneficial to the following:

Students. This study will be helpful for the students especially in

unleashing their hidden skills and talents when proven. In that way, it will not be

difficult for them to find ways in diminishing their shyness.

Parents. The result of this study could give ideas on how them will unleash

the confidence of their child.

Teachers. With the help of these, it will not be hard for them to develop a

student to be confident enough inside and outside the school.
