In a physics lab experiment, a student used two electronic detectors to measure the time it took an object to travel between them at distances of 40cm, 50cm, and 60cm. The experiment found that the object's speed increased as the travel time decreased and distance increased, verifying that shorter travel times correspond to greater speeds over longer distances.

PHYSICS 101

Name: Alex Nunez

Lab #3

In this laboratory practice, we conducted an experiment in which we have two electronic detectors
in charge of measuring the time that an object takes to travel from the first to the second detector.
This experiment was performed with three different distances 40 cm, 50 cm and 60 cm.

Through the experiment it was possible to observe and verify how the speed of the object changed
as a function of time and the distance that the object traveled. By means of which it was possible to
verify that at a shorter time greater speed; as well as at a greater distance the speed increases as
well.
