Module Ii

The document is a lesson plan for a 2 hour and 30 minute course on aerodynamic operations at high altitudes. The lesson plan outlines the learning objectives which are to understand aerodynamics at maximum operating altitudes and narrow operating margins. It lists reference materials and details the content which will include topics like energy management, airspeed relationships, bank angles at high altitude and their effects, and recovery from high altitude/low energy situations. The completion standards require demonstrating an understanding of the academic areas covered.

SUBJECT
Aerodynamic (Module 2)

TOPIC
High Altitude Operations

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
1. Students will have an understanding of aerodynamics, especially at altitudes near the maximum
operating altitudes and at high operational weights.

2. Students will also understand the narrow operating margins in these conditions and how to safely
conduct flight operations in large transport category' airplanes with varying operating conditions.
