2nd Jan 2019 2. Teacher randomly calls a few pupils to give titles of books that they
have read.
3. Teacher explains to pupils the types of books (fiction and non-fiction) and

1120-1220 4. Teacher and pupils have question and answer session.

While-Listening & Speaking
1. Teacher reads the dialogue, pupils listen carefully. (TB page 2)
2. Teacher asks questions to check understanding.
3. Teacher divides pupils into groups to role-play the dialogue.

Post-Listening & Speaking


1. Pupils look at the 3 story books. (TB page 2)
2. Teacher guides the pupils to give reasons by referring to conversation
between Idith and Asin.
3. Pupils work in pairs. Pupils talk about their favourite book and give
reasons.

Attendance Reflection:
