CHANNEL FRAME SMACNA STANDARD CONSTRUCTION
FRAME : 6" x 1-1/4" x Galvanized steel Channel. Welded corners to
provides rigidity and strength.
BLADE : Galvanized steel Max. 6” spacing. Designed with
reinforced 3 grooves for more strength and overlap coverage.
Max. length is 48”.
LINKAGES : Galvanized steel formed brackets and side link axle.
Concealed in side frame linkages out-of-air stream.
AXLES : ½” ø galvanized steel with axle straps bolted to blades.
BEARINGS : Bronze Sleeve Bearings.
SIZES : Made to exact size as required.
Max. size – 48”W x 96”H Divider frame shall be provide for dampers
over max. size. Min. size – 6”W x 5”H
Dampers 11 inches high and smaller shall be single blade type.
Dampers 12 inches high and larger shall be multi-blade type.
HAND QUADRANT : For manual operation, assembled with Hand Quadrant
set and mounting plate.
MOTORIZED : For motorized operation. With a wide range of electrical
actuators “ BELIMO” or SIEMENS” readily available.

ADAPTOR : Galv. Steel Spigot Adaptor for Round or Oval Duct.

VARIATION FEATURES :
BLADES: Damper 10”H to12” H with 2 blades Opposed blade action only.
DRIVE SHAFTS:
A. Extendable to 6” beyond frame.
B. Full Length Drive Shaft .
WIDER FRAMES: Frames wider than 6”.
AXLES: Stainless steel.
SEALS: Also available with EPDM gasket blade seals and Stainless steel
jamb seals for U.L. CLASS II Leakage Classification.

FRAME : 6" x 2" Galvanized steel Channel. Full welded
corners to provides rigidity and strength.
BLADE : Galvanized steel Min 6” width blades reinforced 3
grooves design for more strength and overlap coverage
and with counterweight balance for site adjustments
Max. length is 40”.

LINKAGES : Galvanized steel formed brackets and face linkage


inside of air stream.
AXLES & STRAPS: ½” ø galvanized steel with axle straps bolted
to blades.
BEARINGS : ½” Bronze Sleeve Bearings or BALL Bearings.
SIZES : Made to exact size as required.
Max. size – 48”W x 48”H Divider frame shall be provide for
Dampers over max. size. Min. size – 6”W x 6”H
Dampers 11 inches high and smaller shall be single blade.
Dampers 12 inches high and larger shall be multi-blade.
ADAPTOR : Galv. Steel Spigot Adaptor for Round or Oval
Duct.
