Job Description
• Using industry software such as Adobe Photoshop. lnDesign and Illustrator to create visual designs.
• Understanding and interpreting client briefs.
• Attending client meetings to discuss expectations and desired outcomes of design.
• Presenting draft designs to clients for feedback.
• Supporting clients and/or the business to understand the impact of graphic design.
• Working with creative colleagues such as copywriters and social media experts.
• Ensuring that design work is aligned with other methods of communication.
• Working on a range of design pieces, from social media posts to packaging design and full-scale
branding projects.
• Design graphics that identify a product or communicate an idea
• Determine colours, images. text style. and shapes to create layout
• Act as instructor to team of workers that arrange and prepare layout for printing
• Create electronic version of designs using computer software
• Study information and materials to plan concepts for design
• Perform administrative duties. such as managing information and assigning task, to subordinates
• Prepare rough draft of material based on agreed brief of client or art director
• Relate with external printers or contractors on a regular basis to ensure highest quality and deadline
are met
• Proofread designs for errors before final printing or publishing
