Bruce Boxleitner (NSS) is pleased to invite you along with teachers, administrators, and parents to attend the 2019
Dan Brandenstein International Space Development Conference® (ISDC®). This year’s ISDC® will be held at the
Sheraton Pentagon City Hotel in Arlington, Virginia. The street address is 900 South Orme

Your successful submission status entitles you to present a Formal Scientific Poster at the ISDC®
Don Fuqua Space Settlement Student Contest Poster Session. The Poster Presentation should highlight the
Newt Gingrich space settlement project based on the materials submitted to the annual NSS Space Settlement
Jeff Greason Contest (https://space.nss.org/settlement/nasa/Contest/); it will need to be in a “scientific poster-
style” display format. Poster dimensions and other details can be found at the ISDC® contest
Harry Hamlin website (see below). Models, booklets, and brochures may also be displayed. Students will be

In addition to the Poster Session, you are invited to attend the Student Awards Event to receive

Mark Jannot Awards Dinner, where the Grand Prize award will be presented to the winning team. Details will

Presentation Sessions throughout the conference. If your team is one of the highest-ranking
