I. OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the lesson, 100% of the pupils are expected to achieve 90%
proficiency to:
A. Identify the ideal entrepreneur
B. Distinguish the qualities of an Ideal entrepreneur
C. Internalize the roles of entrepreneur in society

II. SUBJECT MATTER:


A. Topic: Entrepreneurship (Qualities of an Ideal Entrepreneur)
B. Materials: LCD Projector, Laptop, Pictures, Whiteboard marker
C. Reference: Life Skills Through TLE Textbook: Grade 6 pg. 4-5
D. Values: LEADERSHIP

III. STRATEGY:
A. Preliminary Activities
1. Opening prayer, greetings
2. Checking of attendance and/or assignment
3. Drill: Ask students by describe the Positive characteristics of a person
4. Review: Give the kinds of food preservation.

B. Developmental Activities
1. Motivation:
The teacher will ask questions to students regarding want to be in their
dreams in life and give an clear example of a particular person who is considered
“the Richest man in the country” and who are the famous entrepreneur.
Example Ans. Henry Sy Sr.

2. Establishing the purpose of the lesson


a. What is Entrepreneurs?
b. What are the qualities of an ideal Entrepreneur?
c. Why entrepreneurs have an important role in our society?

3. Word Enrichment
Venture - a project or activity which is new, exciting, and which
difficult because it involves the risk of failure.
Cultivate - to prepare or prepare and use for the raising of crops.
Procrastination - the act of procrastinating; putting off or delaying or
deferring an action to a later time.
Profitability - the degree to which a business or activity yields profit or
financial gain.
Raw material - the basic material from which a product is made.

4. Learning Experiences:
4.1 Discuss the Qualities of an Ideal Entrepreneur what they learn
1. Entrepreneur – Someone who organize a business venture and
assumes the risk for it.
2. Honest – An entrepreneur he or she must display sincerity.
3. Persistence – An entrepreneur does not easily give up or let go.
4. Caring – An entrepreneur understands the feelings, concern, and
needs not only of his or her customer but also of his/her workers.
5. Helpful – An entrepreneur is always available to provide assistance.
6. Faith in Goodness and Righteousness– An entrepreneur conducts
business fairly and cultivates a culture or righteousness.
7. Organized yet and flexible – An entrepreneur is able to adapt to any
change yet remain logical and organized.
8. Innovative – An entrepreneur must have the ability to envision future
needs or demands and create new product and services to meet
these demand.
9. Industrious – An entrepreneur must display hard work. Skill are utilized
to diligently carry out task or make goods.
10. Confident – An entrepreneur feels or shows certainly, a point of
modelling success.
11. Strategist – An entrepreneur is a careful planner.
12. Proactive – An entrepreneur immediately acts on new ideas, insight.
He/she does not engage in procrastination and other unproductive
work habits.
13. Prudent – An entrepreneur is never wasteful and always ensures that
all resources and every bit of raw materials is utilized.
14. Determined – An entrepreneur is a go-better and an achiever; acting
on a dream vision, and plan no matter how hard it may seem at first.
15. Knowledgeable – An entrepreneur is well trained and possess
information and understanding of concepts necessary to run a
business venture.
16. Driven by high Quality philosophy – An entrepreneur strives for
excellence and perfection to exceed customer satisfaction.
17. Risk taker – An entrepreneur he or she takes on risk anticipating
business profitability and chances of success.

C. Culminating Activities
1. Generalization
They envision a business and Fin-out how important having a knowledge
and skills with the proper attitude, values as a characteristic for being a successful
entrepreneur.
