This project report summarizes the analysis and design of a multi-storey residential and commercial building using STAAD Pro software. The building consists of a ground floor plus seven stories. The report was submitted by four civil engineering students at Deccan College of Engineering and Technology to fulfill their degree requirements. It includes the modeling of the building in STAAD Pro, analysis of the building for dead and live loads, and design of the reinforced concrete structural elements.

analysis and Design of a Multi-storied Residential Cum commercial Building. This
project is an example of our team work and rigorous and painstaking efforts by all our

perpetuating such a tremendous task which not only adds valuable information to our
knowledge but also increases our experience in the field of building construction.

We opine it a great pleasure and privilege to have had an opportunity to take up


the project work under the inspiring guidance of Mr. Fazeel Ahmed .We place our
feelings of profound gratitude for all the encouragement and guidance given during the
preparation of this project.

We also greatly acknowledge the help extended by Mr.Fazeel Ahmed who
