Soviet Union wants cheap source of power hence nuclear power.

It is located
104 km away. 4 reactors. Reactor no. 4 is the latest. 1 kg of uranium = 3 mn kg
of coal; same energy. Both men are really young to work in this envi & are
highly qualified. Safety drill has to be carried out. Cooling water is passed
which is done through turbines which run on nuclear power-perpetual cycle.
Old tests such as this have been inconclusive. Balance is off.

There is design fault. The walls get hot very fast.


Senior scientists were not there.
So, was this an operator error or a design flaw?
The time of the safety test was also a matter of concern because if they had
done during data senior scientist would have been there. But they did it at
night because demand for electricity is low.
