Speaking skill: Talking about some hobbies.

Recent work: Students have learned some hobbies in Reading class.

Aims: This lesson aims to:


- Introduce language and ideas input related to hobbies.
- Develop students speaking skill.
- Know about some hobbies in free time.

Objectives: At the end of the lesson, students should be able to:


 Language:
- New words: stamp-collecting (n), mountain-climbing(n), collection(n), category(n),
chat(v), classify(v), exchange(v).
- Understand and use useful expressions, words, grammar used to express their ideas:
Talking about things you like:
 I’m interested in ( + noun/ gerund )
 I’m keen on ( + noun/ gerund )
 I’m into ( + noun/ gerund )
 I enjoy ( + noun/ gerund )
 I spend much time on + gerund.

books, student should know “ How to do”, “Where to do it”, “ How to organize”,…

Anticipated problems and solutions: Some students don’t have any thing to talk about their
hobbies, help them to have more ideas: ask some questions to promt, elicit, and give some new
ideas, …
