Modifying tools - To move object
• Move
– Select/ highlight the object
– Click move
– Specify the base-point
– Move
• Stretch
– Select/ highlight only half of the object from right to left
– Enter, specify the point & drag
• Scale
– to make it smaller/bigger
– alike move
• Rotate
– Highlight & rotate the object
Modifying tools - To edit
• Trim
– Select objects involved in trim
– Enter
– Trim
• Extend
– Same as above but to extend the trim drawing
• Break
– A point/ aline
• Join
– To join trimmed lines
• Explode
– To make the object into single lines

• Using erase to erase


• Using copy to copy,
– Select copy, enter base point, copy to enter
• Using mirror
– Select mirror, select object, enter 1st point,
2nd point
Modifying tools – Array

• Using Array to line objects in array


• 3 types of array
 Rectangular
 Polar
 Path
• Select array, select object, select the details as you
preference, select the distance
Modifying tools - Add corners/curve

• To add corners
– Click chamfer/fillet
– Scroll down select distance/radius
– Enter
– Chose line
– Enter
• Chamfer
– To bevel the corners of object
• Fillet
– To create fillet (rounded side corners)
• Blend curves
– To create tangent or smooth spline between endpoint
Offset

• Offset is used to duplicate items according to


original sizes
• Example
– Enter through
– Specify the object
– Specify the point where to put
Placing Text

• To insert text
• Use Annotation toolbar
• Select “A text”
• Change font size, colour & others
Placing Table
• To insert table
• Use Annotation toolbar
• select Table
• select number of column, row & cell styles

• Can change the size, colour & others
