1) Visual Inspection
Inspection prior to Blasting on internally welded surface. Any sharp projection, weld spatters
or any other defects to be rectified as per our Approved procedure.

2) Solvent Cleaning
Clean the surface to be coated by solvent (Thinner) to remove the oil, grease and any other
residual contamination.

3) Manual Blasting
Blast clean the surface as required surface cleanliness by manual blasting with suitable
method. Abrasive to be used Steel grit.

4) Visual Inspection after blasting

Thoroughly inspect the blast cleaned surface prior to coating. Use the ISO / SSPC visual
comparator to verify the Surface cleanliness. Video recording camera shall be used as per
our approved procedure

5) Dust level Test

Monitor the dust rating on the blast clean surface as per our approved procedure

6) Surface profile
Verify the surface profile using Testex tape method (Press O Film)

7) Coating Application
Apply the coating on the internal blast cleaned surface until to achieve the required dry film
thickness. Apply primer and Top coat as per approved procedure; maintain the overcoat
intervals for subsequent coat as per manufacturer recommendation.

8) Final Visual Inspection

Coated joint be visually inspected after curing using a Video recording camera (if necessary)
as per our approved procedure

9) DFT Gauge
Verify the DFT using Electromagnetic gauge as per our approved procedure

10) Holiday detection

Coated surface shall be free from any holiday or pin holes. This should be monitor and verify
as per our approved procedure
