NATIONAL DISASTER RESILIENCE MONTH (NDRM) 2019

Mechanics for the Poster-Making and Essay-Writing Contests


THEME. The central theme for the observance of NDRM 2019 will be used during the
contests with the core message: “Kahandaan sa Sakuna’t Peligro Para sa Tunay na
Pagbabago”
PARTICIPANTS. The Essay-Writing Contest is for High School students from Grades 7-10.
DATE. June 26, 2019
Essay-Writing Contest
1. Laptops/computers will be used during the contest. Internet access of the
laptop/computer should be turned off throughout the duration of the contest.
Designated personnel will be monitoring the contestants during the work period.
2. One (1) hours will be allotted for the participants to work on their entries.

4. Works must be in English. Maximum word count is Two Thousand (2,000). Minimum
word count is 750.

5. The organizers shall display a wall or digital clock so that participants are guided on the
time limitations. The organizers shall also announce the remaining time guided by the
following intervals: last thirty minutes, last fifteen minutes, last five minutes and last one
minute.

6. The Panel of Judges shall be composed of the following:
