❖ Objectives: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
Recognize and remember 2 ways of pronounce “th” sound. Apply “th” sound clearly when they see “th”. ❖ Language focus: Pronunciation the voiceless TH sound: θ Pronunciation the voiced TH sound: ð ❖ Language skills: Pronunciation. ❖ Teaching aids: Markers. Hand-out Content Teacher’s activities Time - “Good afternoon class!” 30s - “How are you today?” 1. Warm- up and Pre- Phonics Story: Tom and Haley 4’ task. - “As you can see “Tom” start with letter T and “Haley” Story: Tom and start with letter H. T and H combine together we’ll have Haley. “TH”. Today we will learn about “TH” sound. - Let’s find all the words in this story start with “TH” and underline them. You have 1min and 30 second to do it. - “Times up everyone! - “Please tell me what you found?; Good job everyone! - Today, we will learn how to pronounce “th” sound.
