Song Rubric

The song rubric assesses student songs on several criteria using a 4-point scale. It evaluates the lyrics, creativity, information conveyed, organization, and mechanics of the song. Top scores are earned by songs with outstanding coherent lyrics that are enthusiastically received, an original theme, conveying factual information and problems/solutions creatively, clear organization, and few language errors. Lower scores are for songs lacking these qualities.
