Driverless vehicles face unique challenges in India. Some of the key technical challenges include customizing existing autonomous vehicle technology for conventional Indian vehicles, software complexity, real-time data analytics, and testing and verification. Additional theoretical challenges involve stimulating consumer demand, managing insurance, and addressing ethical and moral concerns. Overcoming these obstacles will require thoughtful solutions that satisfy all stakeholders in India, including consumers, industry, and the government.

AUTONOMOUS VEHICLES: DRIVERLESS VEHICLES FACES UNIQUE CHALLENGES ON INDIA

Abstract-from the invention of the car there is a great relation

between human and car. because by the invention of the car the
automobile industry was established, by this car the travelling
time from one place to another place is reduced. The car brings
royalty from the invention. As cars are coming on the roads at
that time there are so many accidents are occurring due to lack
of driving knowledge and drink & driving soon so driverless
vehicles are comes in next technology revolution. There are
various challenges to adopt this technology. The purpose of this
study to find out the challenges faces to adopt this technology in

a near expected autonomous vehicle.this emerging technology
also has for reaching applications and implications beyond all
current expectations. This paper provide a broad view of faces
challenges on india.
Throughout the last century, the automobile industry achieved
remarkable milestones in manufacturing reliable,safeand
affordable vehicles. Because of significant recent advances in
computation & communications technologies, autonomous car
becoming a reality.
There are some technical challenges i.e.software complexity, real
time data analytics, testing & verifications as well as some
theoretical challenges i.e. consumer stimulation,insurance
management and ethical & moral concerns.
Tackling these challenges requires thoughtfull solutions that
