and for ATER it should be CRC4.

ZUSI:ET,257; ----- To chack the working status of ET it should be WO-EX always

If you want to know a PCM is connected to which CGR then give the below mentioned

To change the state of the circuits in a CGR first give the below mentioned command

command you fired last.

Please note! In device list WDU-SB should be always connected to OMU. At a time max 4 device
can be connected one is WDU-SB of OMU and three are different VTP or LPT.

If you find that 4 devices are already connected and you want to connect another device then you
have to give the followind command:-

ZIIS::GSMME1PR:IND=3:DEV=VTP-15;

In this case IND=3 position VTP would be disconnected and new VTP would be added.
You can also give IND=2 or IND=4 according to the situation. Please do not disconnect the WDU-
SB from OMU.

We can also take trace using the below mentioned command at the time of call test

ZMCJ:IMSI=<IMSI NUMBER>::TYPE=D;

DIAGNOSTIC in MSS/MGW

To do diagonesis of an unit it should be in test mode. For example if we want to diagonose a ET


no 258 then we have to change its working state with to TE with command as below:-

ZUSC:ET,258:BL; ---- To block the ET

ZUSC:ET,258:TE; --- To change in to test mode

ZUDU:ET,258:::; ---- To start the daigonesis of the ET

ZUDQ; ---- To see current diagonesis test

ZUDH:ET,258:::; --- To see the diagonesis history

Switchover of Units in MSS/MGW

If we want to switchover the state of an unit we have to use the procedures as below:-

ZUSI:OMU; --- To see the present state of an unit (OMU)

Now if we want to change the state of OMU to WO-EX from SP-EX then we have to give the

Directed Call Test in MSS

Trunk to trunk test call

For trunk to trunk call e.g POI and Inter MSC call test we have to take a B party test number first.

Then we have to define test case by following command :-

ZYCN:<TEST CASE NAME>:OUTROUT=Y,DIG=9716098909,CON=NAT,CONT=N,:;

Where DIG= B party number

If a testcase is already active deactivate it using the command ----- ZYCE:4:;

Now activate the newly created testcase with the command

ZYCS: <TEST CASE NAME>,4;

Make the A party number in TP in HLR (from where you initiate the calls) with command

Now make the desired circuits in TE-ID mode with command

Call Testing for MOC (In case of ATER call test)

In this case we can do test calls for ATER where A party has to initiate a call provided A party
would be under the same BSC for which call test is being done.

Then we have to define test case by following command :-

ZYCG:<TEST CASE NAME>:OUTROUT=Y,DIG=9716098909,CON=LOC,CONT=N,:;

Where DIG= B party number

If a testcase is already active deactivate it using the command ----- ZYCE:4:;

Now activate the newly created testcase with the command

Make the A party number in TP in HLR (from where you initiate the calls) with command

Now do test call and check the circuit with command ZMCJ:IMSI=<IMSI NUMBER>;

Call Testing for MTC (In case of ATER call test)

In this case we can do test calls for ATER where B party has to initiate a call provided B party
would be under the same BSC for which call test is being done.

Then we have to define test case by following command :-

If a testcase is already active deactivate it using the command ----- ZYCE:4:;

Now activate the newly created testcase with the command

Now do test call and check the circuit with command ZMCJ:IMSI=<IMSI NUMBER>;

Creation of Directory and files in MSS/MGW

ZIWL::WSB,NODEF::TEST,FF,,AA:; ---- To create the TEST directory

ZIWX::WS,NODEF:TEST,:%,%,; ----- To see the containts of the TEST directory

ZIWC::WSB,NODEF:TEST,:TEST,TXT,20000000,AA:; --- to create TEXT.TXT under the directory


TEST

Measurement Commands in MSS

ZTMI:<NAME OF MEASUREMENT>;

ZTGI:CGR,1; --- To see object list

If we create a new CGR then we have to add the CGR in object lis for measurement
The commands are as follows:-

ZTGC:CGR,1:CGR=400:; ---- CGR 400 would be added in object list 1

General Commands in MSS

ZTUT:CLR; ---- To see clear codes generated in MSS

ZTUL:CLR; ----- To see clear code generated in last hour

ZMCJ:ALL=N; ----- To see number of call records in MSS
