APT Annual Performance Test

Description of the APT process


1. Preparation.
2. Initial check of VDR.
3. Download of data from the VDR and Elimination of discovered problems (if any).
4. Battery test and manual check of VDR installation.
5. Send checklist, VDR data (5 minutes) and configuration file to Headway via email
([email protected]).
6. Headway issue S-VDR/VDR Certificate of Compliance. (COC must be issued by Headway).

**HMT-100A,pls just send the ‘cfg.ini’ to us.

**HMT-S100/100, pls send entire data folder to us.

Note: the ‘cfg.ini’ is in SD1. Pls switch off the VDR befor take out the card.

Preparation
　A PC with an Ethernet port and the latest version of the VDR software is required. 　
An Ethernet patch cable and card reader is required.
A beacon tester is required for testing the beacon.
A hard copy of the APT checklist is required.
A programmer for the float-free capsule is required.

Initial check of VDR


VDR must in general have been operating properly for 48 hours prior to the APT test without any err and
alarm.
