a We arrived at the station and bought his ticket. A train was there, so we got on. A minute later I realized that it

for the right train to come.
b After about 15 minutes, the train went. As it left, my brother turned to me angrily and said, ‘Why did you leave my
bag on the train?’ I wanted to say something but I couldn’t; I just looked at him. I never understood why he didn’t
tell me about the bag until the train went.
c A few years ago, when my brother was ten and I was 17, he went to visit our aunt and uncle on a train. My parents

Hi lindsay,
Let me tell you what hapened at my college. There is a student called faisal. Last year, he didn’t have any friends
because we thought he was boring, so he was very unhappy.
He comes from a rich family, and his father gave him a beautiful car as a present. every day he drove at college
slowly and carefully on his car, because he was worried he would have an accident. He was often late, so the
teachers were always anoyed with him. Unfortunately, when he was in clas one day, someone took his car from the
car park and crashed it.
His father was very angry, although it wasn’t his fault. His father wouldn’t buy him another car, so after that he came
at college in bus with the rest of us. We found that he isn’t boring – he is an interesting guy. Now we are all friends,
he is never late, and he is happy.
So I think that shows that money doesn’t always make us hapy. What do you think?
See you!
