Aim

Objectives:
To enable the students to;
 To understand the basic skills related with writing.
 To enable the learner to describe some topics with the help of mind map.
 To enable the learner to write accurately and neatly.
Aids:
 Board
 Chart
 Flash card
Warm-up activity:
The teacher will revise the lesson of previous day and he will also remind and ask
questions to know the learning level of the students.
Presentation:
The teacher will not introduce the topic. He will utilize the brainstorming activity
about the topic. He will then draw the mind map about the topic on the writing
board.
Practice:
The teacher will now exploit the mind map about the topic and will define and
illustrate each heading of the mind map. He will provide information about the
heading of mind map.
Production:
The teacher will now divide the class into groups and provide the group a topic and
guide them to describe the topic with the help of mind map. The role of teacher at
this stage will be to co-ordinate and guide.

Home assignment:
At this stage the teacher will assign the learners in the form of a group a topic and
assign them to describe the topic with the help of mind map on notebooks.

Describing a picture to write a story.
Aim
Objectives:
To enable the students to;
o To understand the basic skills related with writing.
o To get the knowledge of maxims of good writing
o To write a story with the help of a picture.
Aids:
 Board
 Chart (pictures)
 Flash card
Warm-up activity:
The teacher will revise previous lesson and he will also remind learners about the
significance of writing and composition.
Presentation:
The teacher will enter the class and after the greetings the teacher will introduce the
class the topic of teaching. The teacher will describe a story (Thirsty Crow), start
the presentation first orally and introduces the learner about the story and its
characters and moral which is drawn usually at the end. He will then hang the A.V
aids which include pictures of the story and flash cards also.
Practice:
Now the teacher will provide another chart which will also contain a picture of any
story related phenomenon and he will now describe the picture with the help of the
students. The students will define the picture.
Production:
Now the teacher will divide the class in form of groups and he will assign each
group a topic to describe a hand out. The role of teacher now only to co-ordinate
and guide the learners.

Home assignment:
The teacher will now assign the learners to search any picture from textbook or
newspaper and describe it on the note books.
