Objectives must be met over the week and connected to the curriculum standards. To meet the objectives, necessary procedures must be followed and if needed, additional lessons,
exercises and remedial activities may be done for developing content knowledge and competencies. These are using Formative Assessment strategies. Valuing objectives support the
I. OBJECTIVES learning of content and competencies and enable children to find significance and joy in learning the lessons. Weekly objectives shall be derived from the curriculum guides.
Knowledge - Indicate and discuss the principles of seedling management
Skills – Apply the knowledge about nursery/seedling management and establish a nursery using local materials.
Attitude – Develop skills in seedling management.
A. Content Standards: The learner demonstrates understanding of concepts and competencies in transplanting seedling to produce fruit bearing crops with emphasis on basal
fertilizer application, proper transplanting of seedlings and performing the proper procedure in top pruning.

B. Performance Standards: The learner independently demonstrates proper basal fertilizer application, seedling transplanting and proper procedure in top pruning.

C. Learning Competencies/Objectives: LO 2. Planting of seedlings


Write the LC Code for each 2.1. Determine appropriate planting methods according to plant species and requirements
2.2. Plant seedlings properly according to established procedures and fruit bearing tree manual of production
2.3. Cover properly the root system in accordance with established procedures and manual on fruit bearing tree production
2.4. Water the newly planted seedlings according to plant requirements

you can infer from formative assessment activities. Sustain learning systematically by providing students with multiple ways to learn new things, practice their learning, question their
learning processes, and draw conclusions about what they learned in relation to their life experiences and previous knowledge. Indicate the time allotment for each step.
