I. OBJECTIVES

At the end of the lesson the students should be able to:

 Recall the definition and function of adjective;

 Understand the meaning of adjective;

 Identify adjectives in the sentence;

 Write a sentence with usage of adjective;

A. PRELIMINARY ACTIVITIES

B. MOTIVATION

The teacher will divide the class into two groups and give them the jumbled letters, let
them arrange it in a correct form.

Jumbled letters:

1. soemhnad (handsome)
2. lveoyl(lovely)

C. LESSON PROPER

The teacher will discuss the lesson (adjective). And give some examples.

E. APPLICATION

GROUP ACTIVITY
Write at least two sentences out of the given picture and identify the adjective by underlining it.

DIRECTIONS: Underline all the adjectives in this paragraph.

Scary monsters are found everywhere. Some are frightening and some are strange. There are
enormous, hairy monsters, and small, fuzzy monsters. Some are imaginary, like angry trolls that live in
dark, damp caves or under old, wooden bridges. Others live in dense, overgrown forests and eat slimy,
disgusting food. Monsters can be green, red, or black.
