DESSERT SAFARI
“FEEL THE HEAVEN”
My dream company is “DESERT SAFARI”.

It is cafe where delicious desserts such as cakes, chocolates, pastries, waffles,


doughnuts, etc are available with exotic flavours. Apart from these, we also
provide different kinds of hot and cold beverages. Desserts are loved by all. Hence
it is my motive to make people love “Dessert Safari” as well.

MARKETING MIX:

There are 7 p’s of marketing mix. They are as follows:

7 p’s of marketing mix

 PRODUCT:

A product is something which is offered for sale. Here, we aim at producing the
qualitative as well as healthy products to the people. The products here are cakes,
chocolates, pastries, waffles, doughnuts, beverages, etc. We also produced sugar
free desserts so that we can fulfill the desires of the diabetic people as well. The
raw materials required for producing these products are imported from Mumbai,
Kolkata and other parts of India. There are a few ingredients which makes our
products unique and special which cannot be found in any other café. Hence it is
pleasing and convenient for the people have their choice of products.

 PRICE:

Pricing of the product must be based on the value of the product. It must
represent good value for money. This does not mean that the products must be
available at a lower price. The products must be priced reasonably considering the
cost of production, value, demand as well as the profit. Since our products are new
and these products cannot be found anywhere else, am sure that there will be good
demand for our products. So based on the demand we can consider the profit
margin and price the products
 PROMOTION:

As am starting my new business, promotion is a must at this stage so that we can


survive in the market in a long run. Now a days, as we all know that social media
has gained a lot of importance and popularity, it is one of the best aspect to
promote our products. I will promote about my company in instagram, facebook,
whatsapp, as all these applications are used by most of the people of different age
groups. Hence it will help us to reach out most of the people. Apart from social
media, I will also make pamphlets about my café and circulate in different places
and make banners and place them in different parts of the city. Specially near
schools and colleges, as the youngster will get more attracted these days.

 PLACE:

I would like to locate my café in such a place where the target customers are
more and the place where there can be more of demand for the products. I would
like to have my café close to schools, colleges, offices, malls, etc so that when
people are hungry, we can grab their attention. Also I would make sure that there is
sufficient parking space so that it becomes convenient for the customers and so that
they do not have to the think twice before visiting our café.

 PEOPLE:

As we know that desserts are loved by almost all the people and is mandatory
for most of the people, they will be ready to spend any amount on these products.
There are different classes of people based on age group and we all know that
children are more attracted towards desserts. Hence we will concentrate more on
children and also youngsters and middle aged people and also the aged people and
mainly the diabetic people.

 PROCESS:

I will create a website for my company so that the people can reach out to my
company whenever necessary. I will also provide a platform to our customers to
approach us directly by providing them a feedback board as well as a suggestion
box. I will also provide all the facilities required to the customers to reach our shop
as well as the website.
 PHYSICAL EVIDENCE:

I will make sure that I provide them the best service as well as the products and
see to it that they are comfortable in our café. I would give suggestions to the
customers as to which product is the best in our café and which product would be
loved by them. These suggestions would be provided to the customers when they
are in need or when they are confused. I would not force any of the customer to
buy the products from out café but I will make sure that our ambience would
definitely make them try the products in our café.

SWOT ANALYSIS:
 STRENGTH:

As we know that there are no many shops which provide exotic flavoured
desserts as well as sugar free desserts, we can attract a lot of customers specially
the people with diabetes, children etc. This will help us have permanent customers
as well.

 WEAKNESS:

Since am starting with my business for the first time, I may not have the exact
idea as to what amount of raw materials are required to be imported. I may have a
confusion in the amount of raw materials to be imported as there will always be a
confusion whether the company will be successful or not.

 OPPORTUNITIES:

There a number of opportunities available to have a successful business. If the


company turns out to be successful, we can expand our business by having
multiple café’s in different areas and if it runs out well we can have our café in
different cities as well.

 THREATS:

Right now, we are the only ones who are producing such unique products. After
a point of time, we may have different competitors who will come up with similar
products and this becomes one of the major threats to us. Sometimes if our
business does not go on well as per our expectations, there will certain threats to
our company and we will have to bear the consequences.
