DVD-ROM installation instructions for Windows users

The screenshots in these instructions are from an example Cambridge


Application called ‘Face2Face Intermediate’. For different products you will see
the name of your course instead.

Please be advised not to use Mozilla Firefox when following these instructions.

How to install your Cambridge Application

▪ Insert the CD/DVD-ROM into your CD/DVD drive.


▪ Find your CD/DVD drive on your computer and open it to see the contents of
the CD/DVD-ROM.
▪ Double-click on file CambridgeApplicationInstaller.exe

If you see a Security Warning asking you if you are sure you want to run this
software, click ‘Run’.

The installation software will come up in a few seconds as below.


Follow the instructions of the installation software:

To install this Cambridge Application:


▪ Close all programs before installing.
▪ Click Next to go to the next screen.

Please note: you may need to have administrator rights on your computer to
finish the installation.

In the screen above, choose the folder where you want to copy the content.

The default folder is highly recommended: C:\Program Files


(x86)\Cambridge\CambridgeContent is recommended.

Click Next.

Choose ‘I accept the terms of the License Agreement’ and click Install.

The copying of the content may take several minutes.

You will see the Adobe Air Software is being installed:

Then you will see the below error message as the Installer file is damaged.

Click Close.

Click Done to close the installer.

How to run the latest updated Installer to load your Cambridge
Application:

1. Download the latest updated installer for your product via the website:
http://www.cambridge.org/disc-support
2. Save the installer directly on your Desktop.
3. The extension of the file will include the extension ‘. Air’
4. Now double-click on the installer to see below screen

5. Click on “Install” to run the application. You will see the below screen.

6. The default folder is highly recommended.
7. Click on “ Continue” to install and load the application

8. You will see the application start successfully.

Note: If the system asks you to Install any latest Adobe software click on “Yes”
