At the end of the discussion, the student should be able to:

a. classify books, subjects, and titles using the Dewey Decimal Classification System;
b. determine the specific classification of each books, subjects, and titles; and
c. show discipline in using books in the library.

D. DISCUSSION:
He chose certain name subjects and
numbers so that all nonfiction books on
the same subject would be grouped
together. This system used numbers and
letters. In fiction books, they are arranged
alphabetically by the last name of the
author. Moreover, books of the same
author are arranged alphabetically by title.
