14. Explain the value of friendship?

Friendship is often cited in criticisms of impartial consequentiality moralities

such as utilitarianism. By requiring equal concern for all people, critics say,
these moralities fail to capture the value of our special attachments to
friends and other intimates. More recently, T. M.Scanlon has appealed to
friendship in arguing against a broader position that he calls the’ teleological’
view of value. This view holds, first, that the bearers of value are always
states of Affairs and, second, that the only response value demands of us is
to promote it, or to bring it into and keep it in existence. The teleological
view is presupposed by impartial consequentialism but, as Scanlon notes, is
in two respects broader. First, it is not committed to full impartiality but can
Allow agent-relativities in value, whereby a state is good only from one
person’s point of view orhas more value from his point of view than from
other people. Thus, egoism, which tells each person to promote only his own
good, can be teleological in form, as can self-referential altruism,

purification and self-discipline, covering both mind and body. Know more
about Pranayama techniques in the following sections

A. Eye exercises?
Firstly, a lot of eye problems in later life are due to a loss of tone in the
eye muscles. These muscles become rigid, and this loss of elasticity
reduces the ability of the lens of the eye to focus at different distances.
It also causes the eyesight to become weaker. These exercises tone the
eye muscles up and keep them elastic. If you already have eye
problems when you begin these exercises, you will find your eyesight
improving after a few months.
Secondly, any eye tension present will tend to produce a general feeling
of tension, due to the eye's connection to the brain via the optic nerve.
What happens is that eye tension produces an increase in the nerve
impulses in the eye muscles. This increase in nerve impulses travels
along the optic nerve and bombards the brain, causing a general feeling
of tension and anxiety. The eye exercises will reduce tension in the eye
muscles, as well as reduce general tension.

Explain the law of nature?

Laws of Nature are to be distinguished both from Scientific Laws and from
Natural Laws. Neither Natural Laws, as invoked in legal or ethical theories,
nor Scientific Laws, which some researchers consider to be scientists’
attempts to state or approximate the Laws of Nature, will be discussed in
this article. Instead, it explores issues in contemporary metaphysics.

Within metaphysics, there are two competing theories of Laws of Nature. On

one account, the Regularity Theory, Laws of Nature are statements of the
uniformities or regularities in the world; they are mere descriptions of the
way the world is. On the other account, the Necessitarian Theory, Laws of
Nature are the “principles” which govern the natural phenomena of the
world. That is, the natural world “obeys” the Laws of Nature. This seemingly
innocuous difference marks one of the most profound gulfs within
contemporary philosophy, and has quite unexpected, and wide-ranging,
implications.
